Dinner tonight is green salad, pot roast and potatoes...Scoote even cooked :eating: For dessert I stopped at Panera and got some of their yummy shortbread cookies. I would have baked, but all the cookie sheets are packed. :giggle:

I need to get back to the packing...just took a little break and had to check out pet-friendly motels along the way. Seems that Motel 6 allows pets at no charge, so that will probably be in our plans. I was thinking I could be tough and drive right through with just a nap....but I'm not really that tough. :winky:

and glad to say i talked Jo into stopping a long the way....she is a hardheaded woman damn...i had to actually put my foot down--which reverberated all way up to my head--sheesh

well im off to channel surf til 10 then Rizzoli and Isles come on...why do they put the good shows on so late?????

DC, we should have sent you school supply shopping :giggle: ...and I'm with you durrrrrrr, the school year has completely snuck up on us. FL starts two weeks ahead of NY, so the Rooster has a slightly shortened summer, but he's happy that the school day starts later and is a tiny bit shorter there...so it's all good. :)

I applied to get into the Medical Administrative Assistant program, which I am hoping like heck I get into ~ if not, next plan of action is getting a job. Mmmm and as for My lady friend, well she's not just a friend though I'm sure you can already gather that hehe. I'm crazy in love with My girl; she is beautiful and takes My breath away constantly ............. she is amazing and I'm so very lucky to have her :)

Her nick on here is ALilIrishGirl and she is incredible, not to mention beautiful inside and out :D

Publix has a huge sale going on their school supplies. I picked up a 10 count pack of Bic Mechanical pencils for $1 and a 10 count pack of Paper Mate pens for 50 cents. I am going to try and get back down there today to pick up some more.

I have to go back to the college this morning, the girl at the bookstore gave me the wrong book and failed to give me my textbook for my Microbiology lab. Other than that, I have just been watching Elijah.

Good Morning Everyone,

They admitted Lisa back into the hospital yesterday. They are saying her amniotic fluid is low and if it is still low this morning, they are delivering her baby eight days early. So I had Elijah all night and the poor little boy is sleeping in his room after being up most of the night looking for her.

I am leaving a huge pot of extremely strong French Roast coffee from Starbucks on, with pancakes, fresh fruit, whipped cream, eggs, juice, tea, milk and sodas for breakfast.

Have fun today, and I will let you all know if Lisa has her baby..

Zimmy, I hope your friend and her baby do alright. If her amniotic fluid is getting low, then far better to just welcome that little one to the world already. She's close enough to her due date now that it won't really matter.

Over here the packing continues...so much so that it looks like I'm living in a box jungle. Most of the cupboards and closets are bare (except my bedroom), and the cats just keep giving me dirty looks. They do, however, enjoy climbing and sleeping on all of the boxes. Everytime I pack one, they have to hop up and investigate...and designate one to take a nap on top of it.

Elijah is going to enjoy having a little brother. I am off to the grocery store to pick up some more milk and juice for him.

It is official, as of 12:30 this afternoon, Lisa had her baby boy who is completely blonde and they don't know if he has blue eyes or brown eyes. I am going to take Elijah up to see her tomorrow.

I am over the moon and excited! I am an Aunt again....

Woohoo!!!! Screw the diet, I am going to have some ice cream!

Well the temps might actually be heading into dare I say it.. Fall? We had perfect sleeping weather here last night.. I am so looking forward to crawling into the bed again tonight and being able to sleep and not wake up in the middle of the night ten times because of the heat. It makes for a long day when you have to be up at the crack of dawn.

Still busy packing.. I will be moving this Saturday and Sunday.. I rented a truck and allotted for two days.. just in case. Better safe than sorry.

I can't decide whether I feel like I've been running daily marathons, or someone has been whacking me with a stick. I am sore all over. On the plus side, I'm sleeping like a rock...my head hits the pillow and I am gone...don't think I even turn over.

Today is my last day to pack...and tomorrow morning we drive away. :)
I still have a lot to do, and it's a work day...thank goodness my best friend invited us to dinner tonight, so I can pack all the kitchen stuff completely and not have to even think about organizing food. Love that woman!

I've decided that I'm going to miss two things about this area...being close enough to have breakfast now and again with my best friend, and Wegman's (the best grocery store in the known world). That's pretty much it! My son, on the other hand, will find it a bit harder. I'm hoping that being close to the beach, and periodic trips to Disney, Universal and such will take some of the sting out for him.

Alright....off to pack....and at some point I'm gonna have to unplug the modem and pack the computer, so I'll be going offline for a few days. Take care of each other while I'm away! :gimmehug:

That is brunch, Scoote and thanks! I am thinking of sandwiches and chips for lunch. I have been cleaning my house like a mad hatter. My house was destroyed Monday night by my best friend's niece and since I was gone most of the day yesterday, I am just now getting to it. I saw the pics of the baby and yes she is adorable! Little Caleb, looks like Lisa's brother and he has blonde hair and blue eyes right now.

Tell Jo Jo, if she needs anything and she is between Jax and Daytona Beach, to call me. I know the Troopers are bad coming through Jax and they sit on 95 doing speed checks.

Sending good vibes to Jo Jo and her Rooster that they all make it to Florida safely!
