Holidays
Hello everyone, sorry I missed saying the Merry Christmas and Happy New Years ;), was visiting family with the kids. Hope everyone had a safe and wonderful time. Lot of traveling for little ones but they were troopers. I still have some hair left and all is good :). Hope everyone has what they truly want this coming year, love, happiness, health and good friends.

hello lofters! hoping everyone had a wonderful christmas and happy 2011! may it bring you all many smiles & much love -- xx i had a very quiet christmas, i worked through it all lol.. and my children went away with their father for the holiday to spend it with him this year.. so we actually just had our christmas when they got home (night before last).. very excited to have them back home now! have a wonderful kind of Tuesday! |

I've been lurking here for a while but thought I should officially introduce myself and say hello. Tomorrow (today? West coast dwelling, night owl-istic tendencies make internet communications difficult sometimes) marks the month long count down to my 48th birthday. I have NO IDEA why this count down is occurring! 30 felt like nothing, 40 was a joke, and 45 was merely an eyeroll... but 48 feels oddly significant! 'Splain that Lucy! Should Lucy not be present to 'splain, I guess I'll just say that I feel like I'm on the precipice of something big. I'm refraining from trying to name and/or predict what, exactly. Because as much as I hate surprises, I like it when life happens the way it's meant to, without undue interference from moi. So I'll step out of the way and try to remain as open as I possibly can to what may come. |

What do we do for fun? Is that your question? Today and whenever I have time, I browse my favorite art and poetry bloggers latest. It was a great day for opera on tv today also. I go for walks and read and draw. Nothing exciting here.

Morning lofters.... haven't been around much.. had a gf for a few months. That ended friday much to my despair. Not gonna go there again. This hurts like hell.

Morning Lofters: Hope everyone has a fantastic kinda Sunday! it's so sunshiney here, lovin' it.. just wish the snow would melt away, and be done with! hehe... Answer to the Question: what do i do for fun ? i love the outdoors, hiking, walking, heck even yardwork! lol.. i miss living in a home where i can garden, etc.. i do graphic design online, have my website and blog and design personalized tags and digital scrapbooking supplies.. i love movie watching, reading (i'm a bookworm), time with friends & my children of course.. love to cook & bake and i love camping, like wilderness in a tent camping, heh... i'm sure there's more but, ya's get the giste.. i really like the question asking thing to get conversation rolling ! great idea! |

Hi, glad there are still some of us around. Busy week? Great weekend to relax here. I needed to pick leaves out of the flowerbed today, but it was too sunny and hot out there. I'm waiting for another hour. It's about 80 here today. Too hot for me.
Sorry Ruthie about the breakup. Life just keeps happening, there has to be some good come of it. Things we like to do? I love the markets too. More than that I love thrift stores. I have a rule, nothing new except underwear and shoes. I've done ok for a few years now. But, I have to quit buying and piling up neat stuff. The last time I went I got a brass surveyors compass I soo did not need. My resolution this year is get rid of all my junk and organize. |

What I like to do? Sing (I'm in 2 choirs, one a church and one an audition only communty chorus. We sing with the Philly orchestra and somethimes with the Academy of vocal arts in Philly as well as do our own stuff), I like to read, do stuff on the computer and hang out with my friends! They are the best!!! Not much of a tv person, but I do like the cooking channels and science fiction. Love Dr Who and Torchwood. I love to cook! Hope eveyone has a wonderful Monday! Ruthie |

when i was younger, i had such a great voice, well trained, was in a choir and took singing lessons with my elementary teacher, and even starred in a local television show called Star Date - but by the teenage years i got into trouble a lot and lost sight of the things i loved doing when i was younger - lol.. i did pick up on playing some instruments though which i love - oh and i can sing in the shower, i always sounds good singing in the shower, hehe!! have a wonderful Monday too.. =) |

Doing well here in KS ;), bracing for the next big snow tomorrow, probably 6-7 inches. Got the sled out for the twins and we are ready to make a bunch of snow angels, without heads because they are afraid to put their head down in the snow ;). How are you? :praying: |
