Each of our loses were to team that need a GPS to find the ball in front of them.

Shaking my head. Do they really think waiting to the 4th quarter to play is going to WIN? Every bad team seems to have a great day against Atlanta go freakin figure

The Patriots do the SAME THING...but it works for them more often than not....lol I like to call them the come back kids ;) My second half warriors :)

New 49ers kicker Billy Cundiff practices alongside David Akers with Harbaugh closely watching
01-03-2013 06:33 PM PST |By JANIE McCAULEY, AP Sports Writer
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (Associated Press) --
Billy Cundiff, sporting a crisp new white No. 6 jersey, had an impressive first day of practice with the San Francisco 49ers while kicking alongside struggling veteran David Akers as coach Jim Harbaugh closely watched.

Cundiff signed a one-year contract Tuesday with the NFC West champion Niners (11-4-1) to compete with Akers as Harbaugh and his staff determine who will handle the kicking duties for San Francisco in the NFC divisional playoffs Jan. 12 at Candlestick Park.

Akers revealed Thursday not only did he receive death threats last month via Twitter, he also underwent surgery for a double hernia last February and then had a flare-up in November. After a win at New Orleans on Nov. 25, Akers returned to Philadelphia for injections from the doctor who performed his procedure

I'm watching college ball tonight because I'm already starting to miss the season.

A&M and OU , this will be a tough call because I like both QB's

It always seems to pass by too quickly, doesn't it? :( 5 months is an awful long time to go without..and I just can't get into college ball to help with my separation anxiety... Sighhhh

Sad times ahead...I need to learn to love basketball... :| I just know it WON"T be baseball...

I gotta Hollar....GO SEAHAWKS!

We are gonna have popcorn here at work... homemade!

Kobi 01-06-2013 09:49 AM

Texans beat the Bengals in what was one of the boringest games I have seen. Next the Texans try and tackle my Patriots.

Packers beat the Vikings. Was sad Ponder didnt play. Outcome might have been different. Packers-49ers should be a good game.

Im ready for Sunday football to start.

Boy, I hear that.
Recorded all the games I could on DVR, and will watch the ones I missed (without looking to see who won won't help though). I will keep the spirit going, along with the popcorn.

Sunday NFL Countdown is on now. 2 hours till game time.

After this weekends super exciting games, it comes down to:

S.F. vs Atlanta - I love this new SF QB and would love to see him run his way into the Super Bowl.

Ravens vs Patriots - if there was one team I did not want to see standing in the way of the Patriots, it is the Ravens. Those games are always hard fought, nail biting, blood pressure spiking, last second field goal decides it all kind of endeavors.

ruffryder 01-15-2013 09:25 AM

Ravens vs Patriots

49ers vs Falcons

Who you got?? Hope these games are as exciting as the first round of playoffs!

omg Kobi....I am loving him too! Even when they beat the Patriots a while back, I couldn't HELP but admire his tenacity and real talent for the game. He is a very dynamic QB and has set the bar pretty high for standards of what QBs could be (and SHOULD be) capable of in the future! :)

cinnamongrrl 01-15-2013 09:39 AM

Ok...I'm a Green Bay fan...as well as a Pats fan...BUT...I confess...I found myself rooting for the 9ers while watching the game. They have worked so hard to get to where they are....and yes, I am enamored with their "new" QB...

HOWEVER...

Teddy's team is the Falcons. And it's funny that's its setting up...that it COULD be the Pats vs Falcons in the SB :| BUT..I cannot root for the 49ers when my honey's team is at stake...Family first...

BUT...

IF it's the Pats vs Falcons....all bets are OFF! GO PATS!!!!! (And let's hope Giselle stays home this year. We haven't won a Super Bowl since SHE started attending them...looking all bored in the sky box drinking her wine...irksome!)

PS I was very happy that the Ravens pulled off an AWESOME win! I wanted Ray Lewis to have another shot at a Superbowl before he retires...He's been through a lot to be the man he is today...

PS2 My little brother is going to be at the game Sunday....and who DIDN'T he ask to go with....mmhmmm..that would be his favorite sister.. (ME) But then, when we went to opening day, I didn't exactly invite him either...

I want to see the 49ers Rip the Falcons apart!

Ravens beat the Pats!

It'd be nice to know if there were more women that were just as interested as us in football... I like watching football with the ladies its fun and entertaining especially if they enjoy it too...

But, then, Like Thanksgiving dinner, it will be over toooo soon.

Are you already looking for something to replace Football?

Is there any way we can extend the season?

Maybe we could get Spring Summer training camp games on-line.

mustangjeano 01-19-2013 08:20 PM

I for one will leave a couple games on the DVR for when I need my "fix"...and GASP...what could POSSIBLY replace football?? I can't believe those words were used together in a SENTENCE... :seeingstars:

Seriously though, you know it WON'T be baseball...god knows I've tried...what else is there anyhow? I need options...decisions need to be made...I need a game plan...pun intended... :)
