Today I am lighting one for my great grandmother and my namesake I received a call early this morning that she was getting ready to pass. By the time my plane got there and I got in the room she passed 10 min later. I think she was waiting for me. She was so excited to be a great great grandmother and this was really unexpected. I wish she could have held on to see my babies but I know she is at peace. It is just difficult because she was in perfect health and now she is gone. I am still in shock and sitting here waiting to wake up.....Not a good day

For lost or scared children
I light a candle for all children in harms way! Those seeking safety and searching for home. Those who are abducted,lost,scared or runaways wanting to be safe and return home again. May this candle and the light on the porch, Direct the way to safety and shelter! May they be guided and protected with devine intervention! What is a safe house: A safe house always leaves porch light or a light on that children might see...It is known by many in diffrent communities. Everyone here I know, leaves the light on..Just incase. And also gets to know the children in the area. Doesn't hurt to see what help is needed at your local teen center either. Or place they feed homeless kids. Just a thought. |

It's been a while since I've come into this thread to light a candle, but I pray every day.
Today I lit a candle for those that have loved and lost for whatever reason and find the strength, courage and hope to love again. |
One more candle today for me to light. This one I needed to light by itself as I prayed for only one person.
For my dear sweet friend SF, I love and adore you more than words could ever say. This candle goes out for you. I wished I could take your pain and suffering away and give back to you the life you once had before all this started. Sending out WOO so loud the entire Universe should hear me. |

I've just been informed that Andrew is going to have surgery to remove a tumor from his left breast, so I've come back to light another candle.
I pray for him. For the removal of the tumor and that the doc gets it all. For whomever he prays to and believes in to watch over him because any kind of surgery is scary. |
