When you're young, bite your tongue; when you're old, who gives a sh_t.

Is it better to skinny dip or eat some fried chicken and potato salad?

It's better to sleep.

Is it better to live poor and work at a job you love, or be rich and work at a job you hate?

Work at a job you love (and join a union).

Is it better to take a leap in the dark or carry on a dimly lit path hoping you'll stumble across a light switch somewhere en route?

Stumblin' In....

IIBT: turn the other cheek or plow your tormentor in the face?

Turn the other cheek.

Is it better to be unhappy with one person or happy with the wrong person?

Happy. Always happy first.

Then, if they are really wrong they will fall to the wayside eventually, but you will still be happy. If you are not happy with someone, then they may not be as right as you think. And in that case, if you stay with them you are not only denying yourself potential opportunities, but them too.

Is it better to be a terrible person or a liar?

A liar.

I'd rather be a liar who's a good person than a terrible person who tells the truth.

Is it better to follow your instinct and possibly err or is it better to follow the rules and have the odds in your favor?

Instinct. Too much rule following dampens and eventually snuffs out the spirit. I say boldly blaze a trail.

:pirate-steer:

Is it better to be content or healthy?

Healthy, particularly when it comes to mental health. And, contentment isn't all it's wrapped up to be, if you ask me.

(Smiling, in reference to your previous question [Is it better to be a liar or a terrible person?] ... My response below is based on the POV that a terrible person is a terrible person whether they're honest or not and I have no time for terrible people. But, you may have been asking if it's better to be a terrible person for telling the truth. If that's what you meant, and I'm almost certain that is what you meant after reading it a second time, then it's much better to be the terrible person. Love your questions:))

Back to the game ...

Is it better to wage war or turn the other cheek?

For me, it is always better to turn the other cheek. But it's easy for me to say that because I've been very very lucky in my life.

Regarding your question, you've caught me. :). I like to be deliberately ambiguous when I phrase questions sometimes because the way someone reads and subsequently answers the question also gives additional insight into where they are coming from if that makes sense. Kind of like a bunch of questions in one. Thank you for your thoughtfulness in response.

Is it better to be last or first?

homoe 12-02-2015 08:47 PM

In school whenever I had to give presentations I always went first so that way I could sit back and enjoy all the rest~!

Is it better to be early or late to a function

It's better to get some sleep.

Is it better to donate your time or money to help a cause?

Time!

Is it better to spend more time with your partner or have your own alone time more often?

MissItalianDiva 01-14-2016 01:21 AM

Both are equally important and I don't believe one should exist without the other.

Is it better to be genuinely happy or to just work for a generous amount
