May I ask, what is the dress requirement for Red Peppers. I have a to-die-for dress I would love to wear, but dont want to be over dressed.

Nashville is a casualish kind of place. I wear dresses a lot though and pretty much everywhere. Up to you. I would not go real dressy though, Rose Pepper is a California/Mexican food place.

I have no idea what I will be wearing, likely a dress or black slacks. I can't wear jeans since my hysterectomy...zippers hurt. BLAH.

PS, can't wait to meet you!

Let's see, I'll be wearing boots, muddy pair of jeans with that Copenhagen ring... Thought you girls would like to know so we aren't all wearing the same outfit! ;)

horses in nashville

i was at the library today with a certain little nine year old [daughter of friend], and found literature on a table about all the starving horses in the area of tennessee which i am visiting. i want to start a horse pet food pantry here now [i started this in my state of indiana for cats/dogs]. my heart goes out to these animals, as well as their people who are unble to find help with properly caring for- feeding- their horses. i spoke with several employees at the local library for a while on topic. very unsettling situation.

This issue is incredibly unsettling, to say the least... This economy has forced many people to abandon their animals; some do try to at least turn them over to shelters, etc. There seems to be a lot in the news related to the increase in horse/farm animal neglect, abuse, and death.

The fact that politicians fear changing the laws that dictate which animals are livestock and which are to be considered pets just irks me... It's a bunch of horseshit (an old term that I love)!

Depends on the dress and if it has a Copenhagen ring? And if it's still raining and muddy. Good possibility I will have on a dress, I wear them a lot.

I have not been watching the local news, so did not know. I used to have a friend who bough old sick horses and gave them a place to be. Would love to help from a far...sadly I am allegic to horses and hay...which is sad for me.

Hmmm, pink taffeta really isn't my cup of tea, but I'd give $20 bucks to see exactly WHERE your Copenhagen ring would be!

Haha!

I'll continue to keep mine in my back right pocket and not up front to compete with the Lysol can! Also, the back right pocket is a code in the glbt community for "not gonna be kissing a girl tonight."

Yeah, the Lysol can stands alone. :|

So Copenhagen cans have taken over the hanky code? inevitable I guess.

Yes, dip cans have taken over for the way-too-obvious-hanky-codes! Copenhagen in the left pocket means you get to hold the spit cup! :leatherdad:
