Some..
I love:
Any type of homemade still-baking-in-the-oven-cookies. White cotton sheets that have been drying on a clothes line all day in the summertime. Coconut suntan oil. Warm, freshly baked bread. A baby's naturally sweet scent. New leather. Baby powder. The salt air. Freshly brewed coffee I don't love: The smell of any type of mushrooms cooking. Cheap perfume. Artificial vanilla. Cow hooves my dog chews on. Morning breath. Sulpher. |
Like/love
First & foremost: the scent of a woman. Fine perfume on said woman; it's intoxicating. Newborn babies. Dogs, except for their "frito feet". Homemade apple pie & homemade bread. The grill. Fresh cut grass. The rain. Fresh sheets; the closer it is to getting up, the better they smell (and feel). My shop (I'm a mechanic). Lol No like. At all. Liver Liver Liver I HATE the smell of liver. Did I mention that? Poor hygiene on people and/or in their car. Cigarette smoke (yes, I'm a smoker, but don't like the smell especially if I'm eating or sleeping). Musk in any form. Cheap perfume or cologne. Vanilla air freshener or candles. Too much bleach or ammonia. That's enough for now. |
i'm hypersensitive to smell.
love: the beach air burning wood smell from bonfires wood in general baby lotions & powders clean hair anything cherry or cherry blossom anything pepperminty butch scents (colognes, showery stuff, detergent, whatever) tomato-y or pasta stuff cooking almost anything baking grass & trees rain & fall/winter air crayolas fresh paper books & libraries some plastics like on pools & blow up things any smell that reminds me of a good memory can't stand: liver belches anything pear scented super concentrated strong choking kind of perfumes, expensive or not. smoke from cigarettes literally makes me choke (!!) or weed. i do kinda like the sweeter cigar kind sometimes stinky cheeses mayo bad memory smells bs when i can sense it. |

Things that smell amazing to me:
Chocolate (who woulda thunk it ) Rain falling on hot asphalt onions/garlic sauteing my pups frito paws :) jalapenos surgical scrub medical soap hand sanitizer used books and bookstores farmers markets "new car" scent fresh cut grass Things I dislike: sweet potatos cooking beer breath (disgusting as all get out) bacon (the pork kind) or the boiling of any meat products dirty feet unhygienic people |

I think it stems back to a girl I dated YEARS ago! Lets just say, didn't go well:| |
Love the smell of freshly hung sheets.... Hate the smell of fake vanilla...

I love the following:
The majority of the eau de toilette say L'Occitane en Provence. My favorites are in this order: 1. Rose et Reines 2. Lavender & Bergamot 3. Magnolia 4. Ambre 5. Cedar & Bigerad I dislike: Any perfume that has a fake scent. Lush products- they have a very heavy fragrance that my allergies cannot take Dirty dishes and bathrooms Zimmeh |
I just discovered brown sugar and fig perfume...I never go for food scented scents...but the combination is amazing...
I also tried and bought Estee Lauders Sensuous...it smells omg good... |
I love Chanel #5. I will always love Chanel #5. It reminds me of my mother, my grandmother, the elegant women of the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s.
Yes, I know Dior, Balenciaga, Guerlain, Coty, Patou, Balmain, Ricci, and on, but nothing, nothing, speaks of elegance and sleek beauty the way Chanel #5 does...and that was my Mother, my Grandmother, and the absolutely breathtakingly beautiful women of their circle. Sometimes I close my eyes and I can see them gathering in some room for some cause or other and I can totally sense that gorgeous shameless womanly fragrance. I miss them, and it, very much. |
I'm not one for fragrances normally, but in this month issue of Vanity Fair, I believe it was, there was a page with the scent of Jimmy Choo's MAN.I loved it, I just may break down and buy some!
