I miss many things and
today is the day to stop missing and start doing......
I will start with 80 degree weather, windows wide open, coffee in hand, music loud and her Today is full of tomorrows but nothing is promised so I will enjoy the now |
I miss Spring already...it is turning into Summer weather too soon! And it feels like this year it's going to be a hotter than hell one again!

I miss the woods where I painted year round. I miss the Steller Jays crying for more, the squirrels racing to the top and the daredevil dives.

With the personal disappointments I had this week I found myself really missing my Mom. She hasn't passed, but her mind is gone and she is not nearby anymore. On more than one occasion this week I have missed her comfort and unconditional love and support.

Visiting my favorite places in the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains .... Wading barefoot into an ice cold mountain stream ...feeling the water rush around my legs, feeling them tingle as the cold starts to numb them... having all my senses come alive as I take in my surroundings and the experience ... Then thawing out next to a nice fire, with roasted marshmellers and good company |

It's a lot of fun visiting them out there, even if the skeeters end up eating me alive. Would love to fish or to have the opportunity to in the river back home, ride a 4 wheeler, meet their new dog...and have them meet daisy! |
