Grace and Frankie, American Dad, Columbo, Twilight Zone, Bob's Burgers, and Archer right now on Netflix. I just got Amazon Prime, so we'll see what's on there later. :D

I am so glad I read this thread tonight. I am watching Bloodlines and I love it! I am also a longtime fan of Sissy Spacek. She is a great actress! I like Sam Shepard too.

I try to turn as many people onto it as possible, because it is so good and deserves to be seen! |
Currently binge watching Rectify, Narcos, Sense8 and Wentworth. Looks like I'll be adding Bloodline to see what all the fuss is about!

Binging TV series is like my favorite recreational activity now. I would rather binge a series than go to a restaurant, go dancing, or go to the movies
what can I say, I'm 46 "Bloodline" is GOOD I forgot about "Wentworth!" Will add that to the list. I also have "The American"s queued up on Amazon video Last week we binged "The Girlfriend Experience" but we didn't finish it. Not because it wasn't good, but because the episodes are only 30 minutes long at that was irritating. I am too lazy to have to click "watch next episode" more than once an hour It is my job to always keep a list of potentially bingable series so I can distract Mr. Jenny from HGTV, which gets on my nerves lol |

Narcos was terrific. I still can't find when season 2 will stream yet. I think that you will enjoy Bloodline. Oh and Peaky Blinders is just terrific. They are showing season 3 in the UK now I read somewhere so it will stream on Netflix when finished...sometime in the near future. I have posted about this before but if anyone has Amazon Prime, The Man in the High Castle from a Phillip K Dick story is terrific. There are around 10 episodes, if I recall correctly. So many great shows and so little time. :scarytv: |

It seems like forever waiting for the next seasons to air but Narcos is back end of August and Sense8 in December. Wentworth fans will be happy to know it is back on, as of 10th May! Yippee. I've read so many great reviews about Bloodline I'm sure I'll love it too. Dark_crystal, I share your love for binge TV as the stories and character development are so much better than a movie. Also just finished watching two seasons of American Crime (not the OJ story!) but this one which I was glued to. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KRINHRoOip...52Bposters.jpg |
Great thread!
I have been binge watching The Killing (On Netflix) and I highly recommend that. Also, The Man in the High Castle, Mad Dogs, How to get away with Murder, The Americans. These are only a few but a great way to get started! |
Season 3 Peaky Blinders on Netflix May 31st!
Terrific series about a murderous English street gang, set in Birmingham in 1919, staring Cillian Murphy as the crime lord and the Inspector, (not a sterling character himself) out to get him (Sam Neil).

The Shelby clan is set to return for two more seasons with Peaky Blinders receiving a double order from BBC Two. Season 3 is currently running in the UK with the epic crime saga created by Steven Knight and starring Cillian Murphy due to bow Stateside on Netflix on May 31. There’s currently no word on Netflix’s role in Seasons 4 and 5, although it wouldn’t be surprising to see it follow suit on picking up the popular drama. Each new season will be six episodes, all written by Knight. The Caryn Mandabach Productions and Tiger Aspect Drama series has a rabid worldwide fanbase, having sold in 163 countries via Endemol Shine International. It’s distributed by The Weinstein Co in the U.S. Tom Hardy, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle and Joe and Finn Cole are among the returning cast for Season 3 which also adds Paddy Considine. Exec producer Caryn Mandabach calls the renewals “a fantastic vote of confidence in the show and Steven Knight’s writing… We’re both proud of, and grateful for, the BBC’s continued support of the show.” Knight adds, “I am genuinely thrilled at the response to the third series of the show. The prospect of writing series four and five is truly exciting. This is a real passion project for me and I look forward to telling more stories of the Shelby family.” Murphy calls Tommy Shelby “one of the most intense, challenging characters I’ve had the opportunity to play. I’m particularly grateful that Steven’s original, dynamic writing and the long form series allow me to explore Tommy in depth. I very much look forward to Tommy’s evolution over the next two chapters.” http://deadline.com/2016/05/peaky-bl...ns-1201763000/ |
Amazon Prime has Veep with Julia-Louise Dreyfus.
I started watching Veep on HBO recently and laughed so much I looked for it on Amazon. They have season 1 and season 2 free with Prime. I have a femme crush on Julia. |

I've also had to take a break from the bleak dramas like Bloodline...maybe because it's summer! But Veep O.M.G (as the kids say) it's like House of Cards on nitrous oxide. It's great to see satirical comedy done right. Who said Americans didn't get satire?! :sarcasmalert: Thanks again Anya :goodpost: |
Tonight I watched Take me Home.
It was a very good movie. It's been a while since I've seen anything decent |
Peaky Blinders season 3 (holy crap!)
Grantchester Coocoo You Me and the Apocalypse |

I just finished episode 5 of season 3. One more to go. I don't know if you saw an older post that I made but BBC just gave the green-light for seasons 4 and 5. Such a great series and Cillian Murphy is something else! Such a great actor and blue eyes for days! |
Bob Ross is on Netflix now!!!!! Woot! I love that man! So thrilled by that...lmfao...

The tension was almost overwhelming! What a series!! I can hardly wait for season 4. |
I streamed two episodes of Columbo that were really good. The first was with Patrick McGoohan who was outstanding as the leader of a military school. The first few minutes were in total silence as we watched McGoohan set up the crime. McGoohan's acting and timing were impeccable to the point that I didn't want any dialogue--didn't want any distractions. The rest of the episode was pretty good, too. Really good acting by McGoohan.
The second episode was with Dick Van Dyke and I know he's a great comedian, but I forgot that he was (is) a good dramatic actor, too. He was really good as a resentful and bitter husband. And Larry Storch was in this episode as a driving instructor. I always liked Storch. Peter Falk was good in both episodes, too. Some episodes were better than others, but these are two of the best in the series. |
