If you're flying into Chicago's O'Hare field and are unsure of what mode of transport to take to get downtown, by all means take the blue line El train that runs right under the airport terminal station! TRUST me on this, ESPECIALLY if it's during rush hour! As you go sailing past the "parking lot" of an expressway hopefully you'll remember this post and smile to yourself!

If you're in the Seattle area, check out Pioneer Square. It's the oldest part of the city, with small shops, cafes, and plenty of sports bars!

Chicago Architecture Foundation offers a great array of tours in the windy city for anyone interested in architecture. For some reason, I couldn't get a link to their website to work to post here but it's definitely worth checking out to see all they suggest:hangloose:

You can buy as little as a quarter pound of beans. They have wonderful flavored coffees as well.

This is Miner's Castle as viewed from the Picture Rock Boat Cruises which run out of Munising Michigan. Fall is one of the very best times to take this cruise IMHO

I'm sure there are locations near you as well

SoLo Pizza 2856 N Oakland Ave, Milwaukee, WI

I noticed this has changed names since I lived back there, however it's still wood fired pizzas and the menu doesn't seem to have changed all that much! It was excellent wood fired pizza is all I can say! Check it out I say!

They are also in So Cal. I think they have one of the more "real-ish" Italian subs than I have found around here.

homoe 09-30-2016 08:22 PM

Yes, I agree!

I'm not sure if you're a sports fan, but for the past month of Sept they have ran commercials non-stop during college football games! And then just recently, in one of my magazines, I read an article saying they are really giving Subway and other sandwich chains a run for their money!
