watching a magnified view of someone I love very much do the same pattern over and over again and know they sincerely believe the outcome will be different this time around - breaks my heart into a bazillion pieces knowing the reality will eventually catch up with them again and again (yes, talking about mind altering substance addiction) It is too painful for me to see the up/down extreme personality changes. I absolutely agree with Greco. I truly believe I was not meant to be alone on this earth. However, I was meant to learn a lot of life lessons before meeting the "One". After years of life lessons, I am patiently waiting for Hym. I will never settle again, nor be with someone just so I am not alone.
Rocky, best of luck with your journey back to the US. Let's stay in touch. Hard to believe it has been over 10 yrs since we first met. Oh, and I totally relate to the comment about clubbing and then heading off to Denny's or somewhere like that before heading home. fuckin stalker-ish clients who creep out my coworkers. bomb threats and police parked outside my facility. bull-s**t waiting periods in excess of 3 months for clients to see a prescriber, regardless of the severity of their symptoms. a field that rewards the bottom line, not the results. |

(Jeeez, I feel like I should be in a rocker with a blanket over my lap) :( I had just moved to Seattle I was 20. The City was huge and I could get lost in bars and women and cruising and dancing the night away and eating after hours and watching the sunrise ... That was thirty years ago I cant imagine doing that now... its so far past my bedtime when things are just heating up. |
