Blaze 10-16-2012 09:39 AM

Yes I do, and I got the dirtiest lick'ins from my mom, because I pulled the pretty Koa wood cabinet door off to make my skate board. I wanted a strong board, a board no one else would ever have. I did but with a beating that still haunts me lol. Sorry Mom, I was a kid and a handful, forgive me...

How about weebles. Or those inflateable punching bags with a clown face and sand in the bottom.

Uh, yeah...they were a lot of fun until they bounced back and clocked you right in the face.

I loved Linkin' Logs..oh yeah...dreaming of the house that I would build someday when I grew up.

At the end of the tour before we went home, they gave each of us a miniture loaf of bread, a chocolate donut and a cardboard miniture mode of a Helms Bakery Truck. The model was my prize for quite a few years.

Thanks for the thread Dee. Many great memories.

I remember having a candy tart necklace...

https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/i...-hFg-ka937aVBw Wearing it for like 2 or three days nonstop, running around, sweaty, dirty, only coming off when you took a shower and you biting off a couple and a friend saying hey I want some and you pull it out so they can bite a few off too, no wonder I never had very many sicknesses I had just about every Bactria know to man. lmao

Do you remember wooden clothes pins??? I never used a dryer until I was about 36 years old. My Mom never owned one in her life time so I grew up learning to love the fresh smell of wind blown clothes. So I would rent homes when I moved out so I could have a clothes line out back. Now thinking back they smelt great, but they sure were crispy hard feeling trying to put on jeans lol. And if it rained, you were shyt out of luck and had to run and grab as many clothes as you could. Ahhh them where the days...

The first time I ever flew to California from Hawaii, and ate at this burger joint and seen all the old cars and low riders I thought I was in heaven! The most enjoyable burger I ever tasted that wasn't from Hawaii lol.

I received quite a few reps to the "Lawrence Welk Show" reference...so i thought this may be fun...

I'll admit when i watched this clip, it touched me deeply... It was pretty much the only entertainment to watch on Saturday nights. Loved the pretty shoes and pretty dresses. Me, mom and dad and my brother always huddled around the TV to watch. Oh how i would love to have one of those Saturday nights back with my family...

I was a Jasmine Love's Babysoft kind of girl. That, lilac nail polish and roll on lipgloss. Sometimes eyeliner if I could sneak it my backpack and apply it at school. My favorites were the lacy things, the headbands and leggings, etc.
