Pieless Writing And Coffee Break
 

No rain here but it is very windy. Writing articles on window shades and blinds (yep my life is that exciting) as I drink my coffee. The articles are for an Australian company so I have to remember to add in plenty of u's to colour and such. Still listening to Stevie Nicks.

I saw a video on the news tonight about a nurse shark that swam up to a diver to get a hook out of her belly on the outside. She kept coming back to see him after he removed the hook. Nurse sharks are cool.

That was soooo good to see...maybe there is some hope for humanity:tea:

Another pieless day for me. I was supposed to go to Roswell today, but I woke up late and writing work was waiting for me- the story of my life. I really need to go tomorrow. I have 5 boxes to ship and not much food left in the house. But I do still have plenty of coffee.

coffee....dreaming of peach and a new cherry trees...

My peach tree is in bloom and I am excited about home grown peaches.

having coffee...making dinner...trying to figure out which peach tree is the best...I love the ones with reddish centers...our old peach tree was struck by lightening and never recovered :( We replanted but this peach tree did'nt survive...so I am determined this one will...year before last our cherry was struck with lightening too...it was not happy....but lightening is a good omen...we are having a thunder storm at the moment! Tornado warning-

I suggest trying a different kinds of peaches from your farmers market. In Texas Fredericksburg peaches are the best.

I had some rootbeer today and it was yummy. I always forget how tasty rootbeer and ginger ale are. Refreshing.

Haha! If you have not been to Italy then you need to go. On every corner in Naples and Rome there is a sign that says "bar" but it is a coffee bar. You buy an espresso or cappuccino and get all the pastries and snacks that you want. It is so yummy.

I usually only have one cup in the morning but think I will set my coffee maker up for a cup right now. I never have one after 12 noon because of the caffeine but since it is Saturday night, whoohoo! I will live dangerously!

I do love that my maker grinds the beans first so it makes the whole house smell awesome!

I was at a hotel this week in Houston and they did not have ice tea! How is it that a hotel in Texas does not have ice tea? I was shocked. I had to make hot tea and add ice. Haha! This is how my week is going.

I have tea now and I am on a short break.

Iced Tea is the life blood of Texas...In every home and business you took for granted ordering it anytime of year. I remember Abilene's Electric Ice Tea was one of "the" best around.

I have never heard of that tea. My family drinks Lipton and Louisiana tea. In my family we get off that milk bottle right on to tea. The hotel tried to fix it and offered fusion tea but my response was not pretty. Fusion tea haha!

Lesson learned better have cold tea when you are expecting a Texan.
