i am fascinated with the moon, It took me a very long time to shoot it properly and get a decent photo. Now that I have that down pat I just like to gawk at it.

I like to work on cars. I do not like to troubleshoot electrical problems on cars. That is all.

WolfyOne 03-03-2017 07:03 AM

I sold auto parts for 15 years and was a service manager for one year. Selling the parts was better than dealing with crazy people who had multiple things wrong with their cars, but only wanted to put a band aid on and come back a week later complaining their car is still giving them trouble.

girl_dee 03-03-2017 11:59 AM

I straighten out the buggies at the supermarket.

They call them carriages up here.

Also, a water fountain is a bubblah.

Northerners speak a different language sometimes.

I'm looking forward to my day off tomorrow. That's all I've got.

I have such a huge soft spot in my heart for senior (frosty faced) dachshunds.

I have kept a little shrine to my Grandmother for years. I have a photo of her from the 40s and she had on the cutest little dress that had sparrows on each shoulder. Super pin-up style!
I also have a china dish that I broke the lid on when I was 3 and she painstakingly glued it back together. It isn't worth anything, just memory and history.
I burn candles for her and sometimes leave little things I think she might like. Her voice is still pretty loud in my heart. <3

Soft*Silver 03-04-2017 09:51 PM

the older I get, the more at home I feel on earth. I have always been a wanderer geographically, career wise, relationships, emotionally...but not so much anymore. I am very settled and grounded and while I still reach up toward the sky, my roots are very deep...

I love this. I have a very inexpensive old lamp of my (maternal) grandmothers that I've had since she passed about 10 years ago. The kicker? The same light bulb has stayed lit all this time.

I collect rocks, not as exciting as hats. Sometimes i paint the rocks and write things on them. I make them into little painted ladybug families sometimes....

I used to drink coffee just about from sunup to sundown. I love it! The last year or so, I haven't wanted to drink it on an everyday basis, or even every week. So, I usually keep a jar of most excellent cold brew that I make, in the fridge. This way it's there when I want it and I can choose to have it cold or heat it up.

Sure thing buddy! Cold Brew Coffee I use a half gallon canning jar with the plastic screw on lid instead of the plastic container, but I'm sure either works fine. I hope you enjoy it! :)

I acquired a taste for cold brew over the summer last year. now I love it!

I make it with a coffee filter and a mason jar with my Community Coffee

I hate wearing socks. I only wear them when I have to in boots or shoes and if I can get away with taking them off unnoticed at work- (I hate stinky shoes more, so there is a need sometimes) -they are gone! Neatly in my footwear for quick reapply if necessary. IF I have to wear them, they HAVE to be super soft and the seams have to be over the top of my toes, crooked at all will cause an accident while driving as I fight to fix them or take them off. I have flip flops in my car for long trips.

Jesse 03-05-2017 05:02 PM

I dislike wearing socks as well, in fact I am most content barefooted.

Definitely agree! I only use shoes when venturing out in public. However, even then it is not sneakers or boots. It is usually moccasins.

me too.

I have a clause in my will saying that if they tuck covers over my feet in the coffin, they get nothing.
