The kitty driving me nuts and then falling asleep across my legs after he wore himself out trying to eat my art projects. He made off with a paper doll's leg. Now he looks so innocent.

I didn't sleep well so I was grouchy this morning. I am watching my 3 nephews that are out on Christmas break. We ended up going to the park for a couple hours. They played some basketball and then we went down to the water and skipped rocks. We also saw a Great Blue heron. Time outside in nature definitely turned my frown upside down.

Decided to treat my seagull buddies to a few boxes of munchkins today. Thankfully, they didnt repay me by pooping all over the newly detailed car. That made me smile big time. |

A friend, "Mr Santa", installing the hitch to my truck. He didn't hesitate to lay down in the gravel to show me what's what as he was putting things together, then proceeded to hand me a bag full of extra parts he said I didn't need.

Coming across an episode of "The Navy Lark" I hadn't heard before - "Operation Recovery" - fairly average episode, but fun 'cause it's new to me :-)

A morning text from a good friend sharing his excitement for all the gifts he purchased for his girlfriend for Christmas. She will be very pleased.
Checking my grades and seeing a perfect grade score for an assignment I had written with lightening speed and submitted late. And lastly, receiving a text message this morning from a friend that I haven't spoken to in awhile. :stillheart: |

That I bought lots of organic produce at Central Market and.. got to say hello to Gene Simmons, who was shopping. My father was involved in the music industry and I met famous musicians as a result, so it wasn't a big deal. Just a nice deal to see him shopping with his lady friend.
Now I have the produce I need to make it through the next week. Deborah |
A beautiful and sweet unexpected compliment.

A friend I haven't seen in 15 years messaged me out of the blue that she would be swinging through my town on her way home. We got together for about an hour to visit and catch up. I got to meet her husband and her kids. It was such a lovely time and so nourishing to my soul!
