Thinking of that message and realizing sometimes it is the small simple things that means the most to me and her.

The wonderful 5 day vacation we had together at the beach.

Knowing that tomorrow I will spend the day with one of my granddaughters. Big smile

I had not one, but TWO conversations with two boys this morning :)

#1 went like this:
me: Hello
A: Good morning Miss L
me: How are you?
A: I'm very good thank you (or something close)
me: (I'm getting pretty excited at this point and decide to push the envelope) Where are you going?
A: I'm going to see my mother.

DARLING BOY! Apparently he drives everyone crazy because he's always asking questions or telling people what he's watched the night before on discovery channel etc, like ostriches come from African and emus come from Australia or interrupting the Principal while she's speaking during assembly because he didn't understand something she said. I'm going to buy him a nice big fat animal facts book, or something like that, with LOTS of pictures and LOTS of words so that he can torment even more people. Let's hope no one manages to crush his spirit.

That's a pretty fabulous conversation because that young man initiated the conversation himself. :gimmehug:

Waking up to my love and spending the day with her and my daughter.

Feeling blessed with these two in my life.. And our lil pup. :)

I want to start by saying this video (#1-#4) begins in a way that seems meaningless to anyone who doesn't know her and it is......but hold on to your hats for #5 because it is unbelievable!

I smiled when the weather girl said it was going to rain and it did not.

An invite to birthday dinner out with hys daughter. We missed it and I was so bummed but it was the invite all on its own that made it me smile.

getting everything done today

talking/texting with my princess all day

a nice after dinner walk on the jetty

watching Swamp People with the princess

knowing that this time tomorrow we will be sharing the same space again
