Today I bought a three piece suit. This is my first suit after chest surgery... and granted I don’t have a 6 pack (more like a barrel) iI am feeling great.
Oh I joined a gym, talk about incentive! Finally I can buy a suit and dress shirts that don’t require acres of tailoring to fit my chest.... 😀😀😀😀😀 |

My son
Watching my son jump on a trampoline in class and bust out the seat of his shorts but just kept jumping and smiling. It was so refreshing to see that no one cared or made fun of him and he was just full of joy with his friends. Everyone laughed and so did he but they cheered as he did a front flip. Oh to be young and non judgemental!!!!

As I'm laying on the couch recovering from my fall down the porch steps tonight, the pup is playing her heart out and amusing herself by chewing on her front paws like they were squeaky toys. She's too damn cute.

Saying hello to a gym acquaintance this morning made me smile.

Spending the day fishing the river. While doing so I happened upon a very young squirrel that was a bit curious about me. We had some sort of verbal exchange (me telling it I wasn't going to hurt it or its environment, and it chattering back at me) then I shared some of my trail mix with it. It didn't eat out of my hand but it ate what I put on the ground for it, once I took a few steps away from it. My tiny guardian stayed close by and we continued to share my stash until I decided to move on down the river. It was so peaceful out there and being accepted into my tiny guardian's environment made it all the more so.
