We met for drinks in the predominantly gay area of town. Not sure whether there will be another night on the town. There are only 25 or so employees where I work but we were recently bought out by a company of 4,000. They will probably end Mimosa Monday's (yep, we really do drink alcohol at work sometimes).

Well today is the day...time to elect a President. I will be watching shows off my DVR to avoid stressing too much. I hope all the singles who are registered to vote got their vote on. I voted by mail a couple weeks ago.

*drumroll*

I worked in the unit where my stepdad's grandma is. I walked in and she didn't recognize me. I held her hand and told her I was there to keep her safe. She hasn't eaten anything in over a week and I left her room in tears. So we are preparing ourselves to accept when she goes home.

Now to cuddle with Babygirl and relax before bed.

Have been trying to be a responsible adult lately. Was hallway successful lol. I had my heart set on renting an apartment in an awesome high rise but it decided that saving more each month is the responsible thing to do. So still at the apartment hunting drawing board.

Happy Saturday Singles! The holidays are rapidly approaching, which can be hard for some people. I'm hoping that all of the singles have an enjoyable week!

It is a chilly start to my morning here in Florida! My poor pup was shivering all night and is still cuddling in her three blankies lol.

I am enjoying a cup of Hot Cocoa. This weather is for the birds, but I love it! I have had my windows open all day and Babygirl enjoyed that.

It has been a crazy week for me. My step dad's grandma passed away on November 21st, so we have been dealing with that and now shopping for Christmas. My oldest niece will be moving to Texas in January with her mom and step dad. This will also be her last Christmas with us until she comes back in two years, it bums me out.

Zimmeh, Sorry to hear about your grandma, she is now is a better place and for your stepdad- grieving takes as long as it takes...everyone is different...

My mom has slowed down a lot and looks really skiny, I'm now cooking for her and my sister....Any loss of a family member can be really hard....

Thank you Pumpmdude! We donated all of her clothes and her wheelchair to the nursing home. I am not sure what happened to your mom and sister, but I hope they have a speedy recovery!
