I've known men who were professional bodybuilders that couldn't have managed to do what he accomplished. That child was so fortunate that man was there right at that moment and willing to get involved.

my dog, all of the sudden, broke out into this cute adorable little howl. As if he were testing his singing voice (he is a chihuahua). And it was only to one song. So, I assume it was certain notes that had been tickling his ear drums. Or he just really hated the song. Haven't decided which just yet. But, I did record him!

It's fine to ask for clarification but asking for clarification generally stops at : "Hey, can you help me understand this?"

It doesn't elongate the conversation with value judgments on the other person or little quips like "learn something new every day" that appear to be designed to head-pat or outright dismiss the other person's position.

Tuesday night I checked into a beautiful historic hotel in Galveston, Texas and presto changeo they gave me a huge suite. I had two entrance doors, a huge living room, dinning room, bar, fridge, ice machine, two bathrooms, and a large bedroom. All at no charge to me! Yay!

I just spent most of the evening with Mel C.'s doppelganger! If it wasn't for the fact that she was about a foot shorter (at a guess) and dee-less, I would have thought it was her! Strange! But kinda cool.

I smile cuz I can't tell you how many times as a teen and young adult, I heard "you'll need me before I need you". He was right about that back then. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, I don't say that to him, but I should.

When I went to put fresh water down for the baby chicks they caught sight of it and all came running over- cutest thing ever.

The first round of baby ducks to hatch- I named the one I am keeping "let's go". The rest will be named by my housemates. There were 6 total that finally "broke free" today.
