Then 12 miles out from Fort Stockton a front tire on the rv lost it's re-tread.
Luckily, there was room to limp it along side of highway the next 12 miles ,doing 20ish.There just happened to be a do it all mechanics and tire place just a small way after the exit. Could not find the mongo lugwrench for this bad boy anywhere. They also hooked me up with a used spare.

If you always listen to your tires, they will tell you where you should be going. They grab the road and drag, trying to stop you when you should not be going somewhere.

Next time you come out here, you won't have any trouble with your tires at all.

We shall be there with the proverbial bells on. (Not the bell-bottoms. Well, maybe.)

What is a sack supper? Is that like a picnic?

If you know the story behind that bottle, you will know the cause of the celebration, lol. If not, let me know in a PM and I'll explain! We will have to catch everyone on the next round!

I love living in Austin. I love being able to run into people I love in the weirdest of places.

We need to have a dinner out again soon. :) I'll be gone next weekend but maybe the Sunday after that?

That's freakin' awesome, Wil. Harry Jr. is a damn fine man, musically and look-ily too.

i have to say....it's just freakin' cool to see the stage from the back side out to the house. hoping they'll eventually let me bring camera gear along as well. i think it'd make for some cool shots.

So. I have great memories of making Easter baskets for the group home kids when I was younger (my parents have always been big into the foster home/charity thing) - coloring eggs and putting together baskets for kids who wouldn't have anything else; thinking about how it would brighten their day.

If I found an Alzheimer's home, or a group home nearby, would you want to come the Friday before Easter and help make little Easter baskets for them? Probably a couple dozen or so. It's something I'm thinking about doing this year, maybe throw a little thank you to the universe or whatever for all the good stuff that keeps landing in my lap. Besides, I like to color easter eggs, and it is so much more fun with a purpose and a bunch of people.

Yay or nay? I'd have the eggs, basket makins, jelly beans etc.
Trying to see if it's worth talking about having peeps over (hee get it, peeps?) Send me a PM or text if Yay. That would be Friday evening, Apr 22.

Yes, we could spice it up with some Wii and Fact or Crap or Cranium and adult beverages. Duh.
And of course, you know this house wouldn't have people over without also offering a buttload of food (that's a nice image, huh?) this time around, it'll probably be ordered in, not homemade.
