Turning 50 today, hey I feel the same as I did yesterday. Well that wasn't so bad. Having dinner tonight with some friends and family. :king:

What made me smile today...
Getting in from work after midnight and having a rather Ha Ha chatter conversation with my girl before I had to crash... "That's my chicken!" :) |
Finding out my daughter got a job she interviewed for......:hangloose:
Getting a real steal on the paint for the new place...it pays to know people! Counting down to sleeping with Teddy EVERY night.....(f) Still smiling about the Pats game........every day life will just pale in comparison now...lol Feeling purty dandy today even though I'm one day off the stupid steroid.... How happy Bud is to see me this morning...... :) |

Listening to the HUGE bullfrog outside...it lives in the pond near my apartment...i am reminded of the little scene i witnessed yesterday when coming home from errands...while crossing the little foot bridge to my building that crazy frog was loudly croaking away...i looked over at the pond and noticed a Blue Heron standing motionless in the brush along the bank...obviously intent on the frog when suddenly the frog jumped into the pond...i imagine it was thinking "No, I din't think so! Not this time!". Somehow i doubt the heron's thoughts were similar...lol

Going to a yard sale before work and scoring some awesome books (8 for just a DOLLAR!! )
Finally buying us a juicer....at said yard sale....brand new too! The drought being Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over....... Knowing that tonight when I go home I'm going to soak in the tub and pamper my feets some....I have some sparkly silver polish that Im DYING to see on my tootsies... :P Knowing that theres plenty of sandal wearing weather left to show off said tootsies!! :) Looking through my stuff today in preparation for moving....and finding my cute boots that I completely forgot about buying :| Being another day closer to OUR HOME.... :moonstars: |

Actually late yesterday afternnon...on the phone - looked in my back yard...a huge Doe is having a buffet in my garden and grape vines. I love nature!
Funnier - I'm inside my house - I start whispering...even funnier - the person on the phone, several hundred miles away, starts whispering.... |
Mimi as always... She wanted to give the dogs treats. Their is a HUGE container of PUPCORN.. she is allowed to give the pups treats. So I hand her two, she calls the dogs and give one to Butchy and holds one out to Henry, but she doesn't let go of it. She let's him take a bite then takes a bite herself of the Pupcorn. She then rubs her tummy and says *yummy* and hands the rest the treat to Henry... It was so cute... She just makes my heart smile...

Fruitcake was so excited to see me when I came home from work tonight. He was bouncing around and it just made me forget about work annoyances .:junesmiley:

Another evening talking with my son. I love when he sits on the kitchen floor , leaning up against the cabinets, petting the dog and totally engaged in the conversation. I've missed him so much... |

Getting the sweetest card in the mail from my BBFF and feeling so blessed with our friendship :) Hearing the news from a friend that has been struggling with infertility for years now... finding out that she is pregnant!!!! Planning a girls getaway for this Saturday! |
