I have an lifelong friend who is blind and I've actually had an blind anesthetist on two occasions. My blind friend and those two blind medical professionals have better sight seeing abilities than those who are not sight impaired. :blush: :balloon: :bow:

Comrad- started as a way USSR military referred to each other. Still used in Russia and those countries who are Socialist. Also, used between 2 or more members who happen to be Socialist regardless of party or individual political views. Can also be used jokingly amongst other groups of people.


Lighting up an area-use of napalm (illegal after Vietnam), but still used. It is gelatinized fossil fuel which spays out to burn everything within it's reach. A weapon controlled by men.

Refers to the comics section of the newspaper. Was a light hearted way to say goodbye, see you later, in the 1920s through WWII. Not derogatory at all. Could be used with a friend or casual acquaintance. Just a breezy way to say our lives are crazy, like the characters in the comics.

For the most part, I think this saying is true. But I've seen some awesome sunrise's in startling shades of pinks or reds, yet the day remains exceptionally beautiful. I think what the saying infers is that we remain aware of our surroundings. I think an added caveat would be that anything is possible, so enjoy life, be cognizant of our present state of mind, and cherish our delights.
