I noticed that a red crêpe myrtle I planted at the end of last year already has little green buds all over it. I wasn’t sure if that thing was going to make it.
I am going to have a beautiful red crêpe myrtle every time I walk out my door. |
I'm still feeling cranky but I must admit seeing the rain melt the snow made me smile!

Smile Today
I think I started with a smile that went to a chuckle and then a wild roar of laughter. I met some women in a local chat and some wanted to know more about me so I said "I am only looking for a woman who knows how to make a Lassy Mog." They all looked puzzled , asked what it was and I left without a reply, mean, I dont know. Just I like to tease once in a while. But I am still looking for her LOL.

I was going through some messages and old Xmas greetings and I saw a snowman drawn like a schematic of how it is built. I found this quite amusing but as then I wonder about the gist. LOL.

My water is working again! I've been without it since Monday. We didn't have it as bad in NM as Texas but it got below zero on Sunday night.
Bonus: my pipes didn't bust! It's in the 60's now. |

I would like to give a shout out to a dear friend that is not on this site. My friend is a young lesbian lady and is my guardian angel. She helps me with tech stuff and carries my back pack after I have surgery. She makes sure that I am safe and okay all the time, she is a force. She will overtake me when I say silly things like I am okay. She is a beautiful heart.

Smiling...I was able to help a couple of Girl Scouts with a scavenger hunt. It was fun and endearing to see them giggle and smile.

A couple things...
Got on the scale for the first time since leaving the west coast and found that I loss 1.5 lbs! Don’t even know how I did that considering I haven’t had home cooked meals and haven’t exercised since mid Feb. I was worried I may have gained 5 or more lbs. Also smiled because Jake came to finish the floors this morning and brought his 4-year-old daughter along to help him. She’s smart and sweet and told me all about good green monsters (but I need to avoid the red monsters). |
I saw family at the grocery store today! It's rare in my parts to do so. Not only that, but she was an adorably lanky, geeky very tall floppy-haired super cute young butch. Girrrl, if I was 20 years younger....
Anyway, she asked a grocery stocker where something was and the lady didn't know (this particular lady doesn't really talk to people much...I tried once and it was like trying to pull silk from a brick...not happening) but I did so I piped up and told her where to go. She said thanks and started to walk in the direction I pointed her but turned back and asked about something else so I told her where that was too and she was gone again. As I went down an aisle and up another, I saw the item she was looking for and it was the only one on the rack so I grabbed it in case I saw her again and eventually I did. This time she was being led around by a clueless middle management guy so I held the package up so she could see it. She cracked me up, she was so appreciative. Hey, when you have a craving, you have a craving! It's a shame that I don't actually work at that store because I'm pretty sure I would have gotten a raise. :blink: |

One of my friend's here in the apartments, brought me a full on St Patty's Day meal AND Irish Soda Muffins, that her sisters made. They are always spoiling me!
This evening, they sent me a small brownie with fudge icing and walnuts, made from scratch!! AND my nightly tuck in call with my babygirl and wife!! |

New plants. I went to a garden store that was outside with outside cashiers. I lost everything during the Texas ice storm including my beloved giant Aloe Vera. I knew that I would splurg and it was so much fun. I am happy to see spring.

Getting hired at a new job that offers great benefits and a helluva pay raise for me. No more working two jobs and 14 hours a day to make ends meet. My oldest by nephew arriving back in his port from Iran after serving 11 months at sea with the US Navy!
