Oh Gemme I know how to flirt just fine but when there are no flirtees around what is the point? I will wait till Feb. and send out cards, "will you be my flirtee"? LOL. I can't decipher what you got in that pic but its good as long it isn't the virus in a can.

I get to have the rest of my sushi (that picture you couldn't see, Stone) and I even weighed in a pound less than yesterday. All good things! |

I got a letter from my sister today but it wasn't that that made me smile! It was the picture of the little 6 year old "homoe" she enclosed! Except for using product and blowing my bangs back, I still have the same hairdo as then....:giggle: |

omg I am smiling ear to ear moe with your same now as 6 yr old haircut. I bet you were a cutie LOL. I dont have one that young but I remember my dad would not let mom cut my hair so he went away to work for weeks at a time and I coned my mom out of $5. to go to the corner hairdresser for the first time. Now she said remember just a trim. LMAO I got in the shop and said only two words, Mia Farrow. I was soooooooooo happy to get all that long hair off.

My niece complaining to me about the Millennials—she's Generation X—and how disrespectful her nieces and nephews (my grand nieces and nephews) are to her. She and most of her sisters and brothers would never speak out of line to their family elders and it annoys her that her sisters and brothers haven't instilled the same values (for good or bad) to their children.
My smile is for her dilemma, for being lucky enough to see her growing older, and for being reminded of how kind and giving my nieces and nephews are. Lucky me. |

Small amount of sunshine in the mountains of NC this afternoon.
Likely my last camping trip with Skippy. He's 16 and he is now on more meds than me. Me 1 Skip 6. I had hoped to take some walks with him and just enjoy my time with him. He makes me smile Saw a picture of my 2 great nieces today on FB First day of school this year 1st grade and 4th grade. They cuties. It doesn't take a lot to make me smile |
Seeing about 8 ducks yesterday walking through the neighborhood like they own the joint.
They were in two difference groups and didn’t freak out when I went outside to check them out. They were checking me out, too. They went on their way and so did I. |

I had a dog that was 15, a corgi crossed with a long haired dash. She went blind and to watch her get around furniture was precious. They never complain about anything and love you unconditionally. Bless your little one and yes, mine made me smile just now when you mentioned yours, I remembered her.

I received a long distance call from my brother and it was nice to see his trip went well and he is doing fine. He went to check on his home in Newfoundland and make sure all is well with his tenant. I will be glad when he gets back but then again, I wish I was there with him but I have only had one shot and they won't let you in. Oh well, next time.

One of the postcards that I sold today on eBay was taken in Arizona of a young Native American boy looking into a well. The man who bought it left a note and said that was him when he was 10 years old and he is 68 now and very happy to have the postcard. I am so happy the postcard is going home where it belongs. Hearing this really made my day.

Smile today
The kids came to visit and the little one had on her Halloween witches costume
and looked so cute. I had surprises for her of course. It is so nice to see them as it took them 4 hours to get here from their new home with lots of traffic. I do worry about them driving so far in traffic as so many people start drinking and driving once the word Xmas is in the air. Anyway it really makes me smile when I see them all and get lots of hugs from them especially the little one. A five year old can sure make your heart sing and your face put on a huge smile. |
A very gratifying day at work. Lots of positive feedback from clients. And hardly any traffic driving home tonight. And our 3 day get-away next week. Lots to smile about today. :balloon:

Someone put a fully bloomed plant on my door stoop without a card. Maybe the HOA board gave it to me.

Smile today
Thinking of yesterday and my Dr. visit after my tests and my problems existing have not gotten worse and all my regular functions are a go. I am so blessed to have a somewhat clean slate in health plus my booster shot is almost one month and it is good to eat out for a change.

I made myself smile today. I finally dragged myself to the gym and got a decent workout in. The endorphins are pumping and I made myself a reasonably healthy after workout breakfast. I feel productive and accomplished and the day is only half over!

It was more a smile with laughter as I watched my cats run after the lights as I was putting them on the tree. Mind you - that smile and laughter did not last long when I was trying to shoo them away so that I did not trip over them and end up in a full on hug with the tree. :|
