I will measure my words.
|
I will stretch my body, my mind and my spirit today. I will try one new thing, think one new thought, see one thing in a new way.
Every day I will remind myself to breathe in the positive and exhale the negative. |
change
I no longer resist change in my life.
I now welcome and embrace change. Even unexpected change, is now met with motivation and happiness. I no longer view change as a burden. I am grateful and willingly accept all change. I thirst for change, as the soda machine at work no longer takes dollar bills. I'm good enough. I'm smart (ass) enough. And dawg gone it, people like me ! |
I will let go today of things and thoughts that grip my heart and keep me from experiencing joy. Whether it's physical clutter or emotional resentment, I release it today. I will literally or figuratively toss it out, without anger and without angst. I will simply loosen my grip and let it go.
|
I will remember to breathe and not push the river.
|
I will always enjoy life as best as I can
|
Change is good!
I embrace and welcome change! An unexpected path is exciting! |
I will "BURN, BURN, BURN like a fabulous yellow roman candle"....Why? Because I can!
|
I am an incredible woman. All of the experiences of my life have led me to this place and this moment. Those experiences have prepared me to have the strength to do what comes next. I choose happiness. I choose joy. I choose supportive relationships. I choose me.

I'm worth having the best in life

I choose to see the path in front of me clearly. I choose to see the beauty even in the boulders smack in the middle of the path. I choose the turn my head to the left and right and see the clearing and the easy way around the boulders.

SOMEtimes, You have to count to 20, cuz "10" just isn't enough.

This only takes a few minutes and something I do every morning before getting out of bed. Practice for the New Millennium by the Dalai Lama The Practice: 1. Spend 5 minutes at the beginning of each day remembering we all want the same things (to be happy and be loved) and we are all connected to one another. 2. Spend 5 minutes breathing in, cherishing yourself; and, breathing out cherishing others. If you think about people you have difficulty cherishing, extend your cherishing to them anyway. 3. During the day extend that attitude to everyone you meet. Practice cherishing the "simplest" person (clerks, attendants, etc) or people you dislike. 4. Continue this practice no matter what happens or what anyone does to you. These thoughts are very simple, inspiring and helpful. The practice of cherishing can be taken very deeply if done wordlessly, allowing yourself to feel the love and appreciation that already exists in your heart. |
MY mantra for the week: While sometimes I am a horse's rear, MOST of the time I am a wonderful human being.
|
My self importance is not based on what others think of me.
|
I will not put off my happiness or base it on some future that may or may not happen. That doesn't mean I can't improve or change if I want to, BUT I will not delay finding joy in my life. If not now, when?
|
I will remember that my life is full of joy because I choose to accept joy. I will go through my day choosing to be happy in each moment.
|
I will not use my new boots for stomping. I will use them for their intended use... hiking.
I am not the person I used to be. I do not fit the mould I had myself in anymore. I am worthy of change. I am worthy of the great things I see for myself. I am on my way to changing, it is a process not an event. |
I am more than the the wounds of my past, and deserve the happiness of my present, and my future. :)
