Got up early,
Took the dogs out Started a load of wash Hung out another Went to the gym and humanely killed 300 calories Came home Did my only 1 day late timesheet (yay! I should get paid) Soon to start cleaning... Maybe a bike ride later... :) |
I got out of bed.
I went to work and stood my ground in our meeting. I inadvertently got a good friend from high school to actually bring me a coffee and a mountain dew. I only said one or the other and that he didn't have to bring it. But five minutes later he was in front of my office. He's a good guy. And I am fully caffeinated. |
No bike ride but....
while and after Ted made dinner I did manage to.... let the dogs out do the dishes hang another load of wash replace the newly cleaned sofa cover vacuum the hall, kitchen, and living room (including moving the couch...) mopped the above cleared the dinner table and wiped down the table and chairs wiped down the stove and prep area put previous dishes away and did some more did heaps of recycling... remembered to clean the oven (self cleaning) found some books and a long missing item I got at the thrift store many moons ago... still have to... scrub the kitchen sink(s) make Ted some breakfast do schoolwork put laundry away (tomorrow) finish cleaning the bathroom...I really have to tear it apart...I found mold from when the dehumidifier wasn't working... :| This will also be another day... and lastly... get to bed at a decent time so I can get up early and hit the gym before starting hell day part 1.... |
Today I accomplished this:
I did the regular things I usely do till I wen't to the pool hall for two hours of practis. cooked dinner in the crock pot. read part of a book. Now I am just finished doing a hard sweaty workout plus playing chase,catch and run with the fur kids.I promiss we all are catching out breaths from all the activity. |
Monday has been accomplished. Now for Tuesday...Hmphff!!!

My big mouth
This was a feat for my big mouth so I am considering it an accomplishment.
Listening to someone's perspective and genuinely trying to understand their view but ...then deciding it was best to just smile let it be lol. Sometimes picking your battles is worth more then trying to express your point to someone who seriously is not going to be able to connect the dots. |
Got up early
Let the dogs out Hung out a load of wash Stripped the bed Started wash Pulled out the fridge, stove and a storage cabinet in the kitchen; vacuumed and mopped behind them Pulled out a bookcase in the living room (found mold on it!!) wiped it down and vacuumed/mopped behind it.... Vacuumed and mopped the hall, kitchen and living room Put laundry away Saved many spiders Scrubbed the stove top and cleaned under the burners... Wiped out the inside of the stove I already had cleaned... Removed an icky millipede....still twitching over it though....blehhhh Fed the fish (not the millipede.. I should change the order of that...) Tore the bathroom apart...(I found mold on some sheets stored in there....) Inadvertently got the day off.... Did dishes.... Dusted the living room and cleared out the underneath of the entertainment center Broke my wooden horse when it fell :( Realized I'm tired because I've not yet eaten :| Hoping to put away some books... I'm getting a little crazy with the cleaning...could be the bleach fumes... :byebye: |
Not much apart from lunch with Teh Pops and a little light shopping. Then playing on the tiny kids park with SpiderJack and SuperConnor whilst catching up with Ms.K, their Mom.

Got up to pee.
Back in bed. My bladder is not the boss of me! OK, maybe it is. Waited until my alarm went off. Got up. General chook care, feeding, watering, clean straw. Searched the back of the garage for an appropriate pot for a delicate plant that needs bringing inside indoors until spring. Threw jammies in wash basket. Washed hands. Put 2 veggie sausages and 2 tomatoes (halved, herbs sprinkled over) in the oven. Bubble bath. General getting ready for my day. Dry hair, choose clothes, perfume.... Cooked eggs, mushrooms and beans to go with the sausages and tomatoes. Timing is everything. Wished I'd remember that tomatoes are molten lava hot when they come out of the oven. Run to tap for water, no wasting time getting a glass. Started my word day. |
Rearranged the bedroom
Cleaned the cat boxes Worked my nine hour shift Made apple, raisin, walnut sticky buns and mock strudel. Played candy crush..... All done for the day.. |
Since my days are more like 7am-7am instead of midnight-midnight, lol..
Got off an 8 hour shift Went to Wal-mart and did a little impulse shopping Filled up my car, because being on empty in downtown area at 11pm is baaddd Napped a little while roofing guys did their thing Paid [okay, wife paid] half of what the other guy quoted :hangloose: Put away chili, brownies, and swept kitchen Took trash and flattened cardboard outside Unloaded dishwasher and put away dishes Loaded dishwasher and ran it (including brownie pan and chili pot) Put away the few dishes that had been washed my hand (rare in our house) Put up the command hooks and strung a line across dining room for drying Stripped bed, washed sheets and pillowcases, shook out comforter and made bed Sighed over comforter being unable to fit into our residential-size washer *le sigh* Took down shower curtain, gathered all bathroom towels, washed and put back up Put away the basket of folded laundry towels that has been mocking me all week Washed a load of my clothes, have to put them away tomorrow Opened the windows since it was so nice out Cuddled with the Piperkins and let the crazy canines out Threw a flat sheet over our couch downstairs so we can toss in wash after dogs get it dirty vs cleaning the whole couch -_- Boiled salt potatoes that had gone just a little soft, and made mashed potatoes Pranced around in a skirt I haven't seen in over a year Painted fingernails and toenails Made note to send femme swap stuff to kristopher Made note to pack up our clothes to donate to local clothing shelter Posted six responses to psychology class, e-mailed teacher since she made me leader for a discussion Turned in my composition for Spanish Started reading my assigned reading for music Picked out my story to analyze for English Made pancakes for 2 hours for residents here at work.. brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins in the batter Played some Farmville ... ... ......... The other day I vaccuumed and shampooed half the carpet [heavy duty area] .. May finish other half tomorrow. May also put all two baskets.. three? of clean clothes away. In the last few days....
Started fall cleaning the house...
Pulling furniture out and vacuuming/mopping behind everything Wiped down the wood furniture in the living room with Murphy's oil (love that smelllll) Trying my best to purge my books....really I am.... Getting stuff together to contribute to my mom's tag sale endeavor Organized much of what we are keeping Back pedaled by succumbing to free book temptation...and free pampered chef temptation...and free pretty scarf temptation.... :| Doubled my scrub's inventory with a mere 20 dollar purchase....woot! Finally got a new phone...haven't switched over to it yet...baby steps... Did heaps of wash (some of which is going to tag sale) Cleaned the fridge....ever my Achilles heel....blech Did dishes till the cows came home...and left again...and came home again... Cleaned the kitchen x4ish...good cooks are never tidy cooks....like ever (see above) Spent nearly 12 hours cleaning someone else's house. At least I get paid to clean there..... Muddling through some seriously redundant law/ethics stuff...I took that in college...wth... Kept my real job...yay me! Achieved an A average in school.... :sunglass: Mended a fence....figuratively, not literally Took time to look up at the stars and admire a gorgeous sunset....<3 |

I totally forgot...I tidied up my yarn bag so my client can (hopefully) teach me to knit...:blush:
Today I am doing more meticulous type cleaning, the things no one notices unless you DON'T do them.... Thoroughly cleaned the kitchen "island" that holds the pots and pans Put laundry away....a LOT of laundry Rewashed the freshly washed comforter (which was hanging too low on the clothes line to evade the poodle's trajectory.... :| ) Composted Studied :glasses: Did wash and hung it to dry Changed the fish tank...possibly tanks...depending Gave the dogs a bath Tidied the food cabinet and freezer in preparation for much needed grocery shopping... Had the realization that my employer has a serious case of selective hearing... :blink: Made a mental menu for dinner tonight Took the dogs out numerous times The day is still young....I'm hoping to make it a productive one... :) |
for most of the week, like today, I will probably do much of nothing except go for a swim (float aimlessly in the pool) or maybe do some housecleaning (maybe rearrange my bedroom?) or maybe I'll come across a good book to read. I definately want to go out this evening (throw a dart on the map and go for a long drive).

Worked all day
Got home, started to trim my moms living room, started to get dark so stopped painting and put all the hardware on the cabinets. In my house i reinstalled the baseboards in my room. Hauled a crap load of old carpet, linoleum, bags of trash and all the crap i am throwing out to the road. There is a ton of trash for pick up! Had a hot bath to soothe my aching self and now i am chillin' out. |

Let the dogs out Fed and watered all the pets, cept the fish...they already had water Started wash and hung out another load Organized our newly acquired (repurposed!) kitchen cabinet. (All the pots, pans, cutting boards and storage containers now have a new, better home!) Put the cabinet that USED to serve in the kitchen in the bathroom instead. (It makes for a much less crowded feeling space now. AND the door can open all the way again!) Took out and washed the winter sheets...fluffed the winter comforter... Relocated many spiders Dusted the living room Did more dishes than normal.... Sat out on the patio with the doggies and drank (most of) my Salted Caramel Chai... Started going through un-needed things for donation or tag sale Did some crocheting for Christmas cards Got some studying in Spot cleaned the fridge (I find that maintenance makes the chore tolerable!) Made dinner Did more dishes Soon to shower and ready for bed.... :) Tomorrow: I work an 8-4p shift and I will have nothing much to do but study and crochet! |

Hit a neighbors garage sale and scores some treasures... Exchanged faulty printer for a new one Picked up dixi's food and meds Lowes for tons of stuffs and lots of awesome plants Wal Mart for groceries and the rest of the stuff i needed hung up my moms shades rehooked up her cable and stove screened the soffit vents (banged my thumb up real good installed fire and co2 detectors.... HOT BATH :) |

After getting up rather late, I .....
--finished my early 'spring cleaning' project (repaired the bath tub drain unit) -- washed and dried a few loads of laundry (I steam-ironed a couple of my dresses) -- began a 'spring cleaning' project in my clothes closet (sorting out clothes to take to the thrift store) -- came across an box of mis-matched socks in the hall closet (I am going to craft some sock puppets for play-theatre hour) -- went for a long late evening walk, since it wasn't raining (walked for 2 hours in the cold evening air, adrift with the scent of fall) --submitted my latest, revised, resume for an interesting job I found (this is a slow process for me, but I'm getting better each time I do it) -- I made a batch of marshmallow treats (sweet coconut flakes, chocolate chips + Cheerios Honey Nut cereal) (Now, I am going to relax ... ) |
Deep cleaned the chook coop and run.
Caught up on ALL paperwork even my accounts, which I usually count as separate to paperwork even though that is what they are. :blink: Also, I poured a second Baileys. That is an accomplishment. I usually dose off after one glass :p |
Bought a rather super-duper 50th birthday pressie for myself. A better one that I thought I'd be able to afford. :D

Washed the dishes that wouldn't fit by hand Cleaned the cooktop and scrubbed the drip pans Made crescent rolls with cinnamon/sugar butter, and some filled with chocolate chips Washed and dried three loads of laundry (mine, her's, kiddo's clothes) Sorted and folded and put away three more loads of laundry on top of those Sorted out clothes the kiddo outgrew and put them in our donation bag Replaced all the batteries in our CO2 detectors Now re-watching World War Z and typing up an essay that's two days overdue |
I'm catching up on some paperwork today,
getting ready to send a letter to my eldest son, my youngest son should be home soon, so I'll probably think about what to make for supper tonight. Other than that, I was thinking about doing some laundry, but I might put that off until tomorrow. |

Today...I....learned how to KNIT!!! :) I have been trying and trying to learn via youtube...and today...it just CLICKED. That and I got the suggested size needles (8 I think) and a chunkier yarn so I could see what the heck I was doing....and finally...SUCCESS!! Loads at the shop/workshop. Some much needed pricing up of items we sell.
Between us we put up 6 large, garage type hooks on the walls for bicycle tyres. Wrestled with a bloody, buggery, bastid vacuum upon trying to empty it. The random 13yr old ended up putting it right for us. :blush: Learned yet more about the settings for m'new camera Finally put first batch of new pictures into iphoto. The above, as well as the usual day to day stuff has been my day. Time to settle in for the night, get the heating on and dive into a big bath. |
General chook care.
Helped out at a kids nativity (ages 1-3yrs) Much cuteness! Sidestepped the huge table laden with all manor of fancy cakes, pies and pastries served afterwards. Go me! Popped into ASDA for a few bits. Unpacked shopping. Cut up and bagged the tablet I made yesterday, and ate two slabs. Totally undoing my earlier sidestepping of festive yumminess! Oops. Caught up on paperwork. General household puttering and pottering. Phoned a local furniture donation service offering a dining table and 6 chairs. They are in good condition and have been looked after however, a couple of years ago I dismantled the chairs to wash the covers. When I stapled the covers back in place I omitted to replace the fire safety labels. There seemed no point. It is now illegal to give the chairs to a family who could make use of them and they wont take the table without the chairs. Made a trip to recycling to dispose of the chairs (table goes tomorrow, my car is small) :( |

got two coats on them! with friend's help put up wood blind in same window set. one up, one to go. then 3 more blinds to hang in living room painted trim on main back door, and design on said door. am so tired. :| should sleep well :rrose: |
