Morning---burning up the roads still i see DC...hows things going? between work and trying to take my sweetie to the beach every evening for exercise(and no puter) life has been pretty full on our end....Fall is fast approaching south florida...mild days cool evenings(to me anyway) the beach is beautiful as always but right now winds are high,surf is rough...matter fact we were at beach yesterday and i pulled a plastic bag outta my pocket to put a shell in and a $10 bill flew out.......u shoulda seen Jo go after it...(not making any comment about her jewish side coming out) lol...she chased that thing all way to dunes,picked it up and shoved it in her bra :blink: and hell yeah for $10 id go boob surfing--just sayin im looking forward to getting this nonsense with house done,but ohhhhhh the moving and unpacking and kids and animals and ARRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH hopefully i'll be medicated b4 then so i dont kill anyone or anything anyway i better get back to work...will be dropping in regularly now so fire up the grill,bring out the :wine: and lets catch up :) love u honey:rrose: |

Scoote, Jo Jo and family, glad to read that you are almost finished with your house! School has been kicking my ass literally and I am about to give up my internet, I cannot afford it anymore. It costs me almost $40 a week in gas and my education is more important than the internet, when I can go to Starbucks and get it free with the purchase of a cup of coffee. My anatomy lab final is on the 14th and I will be going to Orlando this weekend to study and go to Pride. I am thinking of putting an IV of coffee into my arm until next Thursday. I have one who tossed a book up in my driveway, I started laughing and took it inside. The women at the conference took over the men's room, to the bellyaching of the men, hehe. I am glad the studying is going well. That was actually My favorite part of going to college... and the homework. The in class note taking and all of that was not as much, even though I love to learn. However, I think it was the organization and orderliness of the studying and homework that I liked. Yes, like I said.. there are some Avon queens out there that will do whatever they need to get a book to you..laughs.. I love throwing it up the driveway thing.. like someone delivering the newspaper. My girl is pushing herself and getting through the best she can. Can I just say I am loving the morning java and the Fall weather? I have even been craving a cup of joe in the evenings, which is not normal for Me. I am thinking it is just the cooler weather. Jake, studying is doing good, me and a few ladies from class studied from 10am to 3:30pm before I left for Orlando. My brain hurts, lol. On Monday in lab class, we dissected a sheep brain and on Wednesday we dissected a cow eye. Both were neat and I got to hold both while the guy in my lab group dud the cutting. It felt weird but the cat is going to be hard. Good to hear Ms MountainStar is doing better and tell her that I am sending wishes of a speedy recovery. The dr's flew my roommate, Lisa's baby to the children's hospital in Jacksonville on Monday, he wasn't breathing good and his heart wasn't doing good. He is now on a heart monitor and if nothing changes, they are going to do open heart surgery on him. I am going to Orlando's Pride with a few ppl from the dash site on Sunday. How about you? The dr's released him the following morning and they put a heart monitor on him and he has to go to the dr's once a week for checkups. They don't know what caused his heart and oxygen issues, so until they do, he has the heart monitor. If it happens again, they are going to do open heart surgery on him. I am doing good, just keeping busy with class and no one showed up on Sunday, so I came home and got my Avon brochures completed, so I could deliver them today. Dinner sounds good, after class, I went to my mom's house and had homemade beef stew and just had a few cookies with a cup of coffee as dessert. I always loved the leaves changing, but dreaded the coming snow shoveling. The good news is that we're getting closer every day. I paid the insurance and sent the binder off, and that was the last thing on my list to accomplish before closing. Hi to My fellow Kitchen dwellers, how is everyone? I'm so very sorry I haven't been around lately, but I started a new job yesterday and I've just been trying to get used to being up early in the morning (try 6:30am). I'm very excited because I get My very first T shot tomorrow :cheesy:
I'm nervous I admit it, but I'm also very excited at the same time. My work is extremely open, cuz I told My trainer about My transition and she said that I'm safe to work there ~ if anyone even tries anything that discriminates against Me, they will be fired on the spot. Its a very diverse group of people and it doesn't matter what your race/religion/gender/sexual orientation etc is, all they care about is that you do your job. I already get along with people there, so I know that I'm very much going to like it there :) Hope everyone has a great Friday tomorrow ~ I know I will *yay* |

It is a gorgeous day here in Florida!!! I still haven't received my grade for my anatomy lab final...The whole class is on pins and needles waiting on them. I do miss the snow from when I lived up in Michigan and Pennsylvania as a teenager... I am thinking of a nice brain food style brunch today with plenty of coffee, tea, juice, milk, sodas and mimosa's<virgin style> today. My grade is up for my lab final. It says I got a 71%, but I got 142pts for the points part of it. So I am confused and I emailed him to ask if I got a C or if I got an A.

Good morning everyone! I have missed so much in the past three weeks, and will catch up reading everything later today and tomorrow....
So....I've been gone - to the hospital. Had to have an emergency knee operation and spent three weeks in there. I got home on Thursday afternoon and have spent the past few days just getting used to being home and working on regaining my strength. I missed everyone in here very much...especially Mr. Prickly...but I am happy to be here now and on the mend. Hugs to everyone and hope you have a great day today! MS |
