y'know.....
These pill making companies really....reallyreallyreally NEED to get a little bit more ...Creative with their pill Designs...I'm more than sure they can afford to make 'em a little more distinctive....
"That Asparagus green Y shaped one is for 5 pm....and this persimmon Diamond lookin' one is for now...yes, w00t!"
After all, there are people who occasionally fuck shit up, and wind up hoping they didnt mix both g$$%^$%^ dosages at once, cuz they had a sleepy brainfart, and cant remember shit about which they took, cuz they're both the same shape, same color, different itty-bitty numbers!!.....
Just saying..

While watching my Ferrets frolic {wow, i get to use frolic}, I marvelled at very subtle differences, in contrast to the painfully obvious...

Tehtoh - He has a distinctive "walk"...Sneaky, confident, arrogant, and Quick....

Matilda - Not so much, She has a more clumsy, slightly slow, wow-everything-is-so-big baby "trombone music" wobble..Until she's startled, in which case, she rivals Tehtoh considerably in how Quick she'll run and hide....

Tehtoh's only quick to hide when he's up to absolutely no good, and doing something I'm sure he knows he shouldn't

Matilda doesn't give a shit, she'll fuckin go after the chips ahoy bag, and when I pick her up she has a unique glance that can only mean "u big fuck, put me back, I SAW IT FIRST.....NOW!"

Tehtoh will casually skip away with a treat in mouth....
Matilda has a small skip then she hops off like a rabbit on fastforward...big fuzzy booty just bouncin in her wake...

the painfully obvious differences?{which somehow eludes almost everyone that encounters either one}
Tehtoh's huge....not fat...just...2 times Bigger than Mathilda...
She has a slender head, pointy snout as opposed to his "bull" type wide skull....
And if that doesnt work...
She's the equivalent of holding on to a slightly heavy, squishy cotton ball...
He's got a "barrel" torso, and his fur is slightly coarse...not to mention because he's a Boy 2 things are evident...his "orange" cheeks...and his "bellybutton" {female ferrets don't have one, so please, don't assume, and try to avoid temptation by tickling the bellybutton, you'll be in for a very rude awakening...my mothers ex found out, after he blew a few razzies on Aramis's belly}

Otherwise, they both look like they came from the same Parents....

Valerie Bertinelli is marrying Tom Vitale. Both are in their 50's.

Today I am headed to the VFW to participate in the activities there. God bless our men and women who fought for our freedom!

''It is unclear, but scientists theorize that we close our eyes to protect them. We may be protecting our eyes from microorganisms and particles from our sneezes," said Dr. Bonnie Henderson, director of comprehensive ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. But it could also be simply because a sneeze is a kind of bodywide reflex in which a lot of muscles contract, not just in the nose and throat but also those in the diaphragm, the abdomen, thighs, back, even sphincters (which is why some people with stress incontinence may urinate slightly when they sneeze).

Researchers aren't sure exactly why the sneeze reflex happens, but whatever neurological message tells the eyes to close probably comes from a primitive part of the brain called the medulla oblongata in the brain stem, Henderson said. And, it's not just an irritation in the nose that can trigger a sneeze; some people, probably because of genetics, have a photic reflex, which makes them sneeze in response to sudden, bright light.

And, in case you were wondering about that old wives' tale about the heart skipping a beat when you sneeze, rest assured: It doesn't, though it may pause for a fraction of a second before resuming its normal rhythm, said Dr. Thomas Graboys, director of the Lown Cardiovascular Research Foundation in Boston. That pause is believed to occur due to a change in intra-thoracic pressure, or pressure in the chest, when you sneeze. That pressure may stimulate the vagus nerve, which in turn slows the heart rate down for a brief moment.

This is not dangerous, Graboys noted. But it's believed that people began saying ''God bless you" when a person sneezes because they believed that, in that brief moment, you were between heaven and hell, and, if you were blessed, you'd be saved from damnation.

what can I say? im bored, and got nuttin better to do...

Mental Feng Shui

Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
When you say, 'I love you,' mean it.
When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.
Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
Believe in love at first sight.
Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
Don't judge people by their relatives.
Talk slowly but think quickly.
When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'
Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
Say 'bless you' when you hear someone sneeze.
When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.
Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.
Spend some time alone.

Well....I do believe I have rescued another puppy, thanks to my Sissy......

And, while I may have 'rescued' her from the shelter (and certain demise), my sweet daughter has 'claimed' her.....she's feeding her....bathed her and they have bonded in the sweetest way! She has changed her name from "Toad" (God help me!) to Cotilla ~ which means "Nosey Parker" in Spanish. She's calling her "Coti" (KO-tee) for short.

Tomorrow morning, we shall travel to Animal Trustees of Austin, where they will give her the once-over....I'm pretty sure she's not had her shots, probably needs a de~worming, and she's not spayed.

I'm proud of my daughter. These two will be so good for each other!

:doghead: (Coti really looks like that!)

The Rest of the Story...

Well, that evening I couldn't let the cat sleep in the entryway and hauled her inside. The next day, I took her to the vet only to discover "she" was a "he" and had large abscesses from fighting.

So his growths were cut and drained, he was neutured, and has since been checked over for anything nasty like fleas or worms, and has been given all of his shots except for one more booster in 3 weeks.

I am the proud owner of a scrawny tom cat named "Leonard" for a mere $450.00.

But.....I love this cat! He's such a momma's boy. No matter where he is outside, he'll come running right home to me and when he smiles he has two huge fangs hang out. It's a riot. I call him "Fang Face" sometimes.

In the short time he's been here, he has gained 3 ounces already, which I'm sure is due to the Science Diet for kitties, Fancy Feast nightly, and a bowl of cream and Whiska snacks. He's a good kitty and this is his home.

Welcom to your new home, Leonard!!!

So, this black teenage kitty appeared a few days ago. She's scrawny and has a hunchback and never stops meowing. As cats go, she's got a face only a mother could love.

Today, she and my dog made friends..and she decided she likes me. She came in the house everytime I opened the door while I was trying to hang laundry. She seems to enjoy my ankles. She's lonely. She wants to be heard. She smacks up the dog when necessary.

She lets me pet her and isn't feral. I have no idea where she came from. Tonight, I noticed her humpback is due to a large cyst or spongy growth on her shoulder blade. It's not painful to the touch and she's full of energy so I'm not sure what to make of it.

I told her if she's still around in the morning, I'll take her to the vet. Bear in mind, I don't want a cat. They make me itch. They leave hair on my pillow. They get on the counters at night. I like feral cats..who live outside.

The cat and my dog are obsessed with each other and are communicating through the kitchen window. The cats sits on the chair on the patio on the outside of the window..and BLossom sits on the chair at the table in the kitchen. And, they communicate. A lot.

I've been sneaking around my kitchen for the last 3-4 hours. The cat has been eating at the feeders, sitting on the patio chair, and now she's in the entryway off the kitchen. Resting comfortably. She doesn't appear to have plans to go anywhere. I hesitate to have her in the house until she is checked over by a vet..but I feel awful thinking about her out there.

I have company arriving Wednesday. I need a mani/pedi. Blossom is getting a bath and a shave.

Blossom just had a $260.00 surgery bill and needs shots in June. She has an Secondary AV heart block and her vet care is expensive.

I DON"T NEED A $300.00 VET BILL FOR A SCRAWNY HUNCHBACK CAT!!!!

Yet this kitty has adopted us. Blossom has adopted her. Try as I might, I can't NOT like this cat.

Ughhh... I might have been adopted against my will. Again. Sigh, I'm taking a comforter out there for her to sleep on.

Yesterday, after a rather lengthy argument with relatives, I decided to take a Long walk, clear my mind bla bla...
I wound up sitting on the front steps of a Baptist church, I had taken 3 magazines with me, just in case..
shambhala sun, people & curve..
I spotted a funny looking bug between the brick wall & the steps, kept staring for awhile, every now and then it would wiggle...Decided to read, there was an article on the Dalai Lama, after I finished it, I peeked on the bug, and it turned out to be a Moth, the wings were popping out*nice patterns too*, it would expand then press against its body...
It was rather curious...
I would occasionally shoo a spider away, mumblin "not this time, not on my watch"..
Granted, it was a Moth, but still, seeing it in that stage was rather impressive....
After a while of watching this, I had to go, sunset was approaching and the Road back to my place isn't safe for pedestrians at some points {visibility}...
quietly told the moth "good luck" and went home..

Jet 05-25-2010 11:41 PM

Before I got "30 days of Night" Graphic Novels, based on what I saw in the Movie? I didn't even know the Vampires had names..All I figured was

"Oh shit, that dudes spookier than the other, has a bigger fangy mouth...not to mention he's butt ugly"

"Wow, that one's more bloodthirsty" :wine:

"Awww, the blood-drenched bossy guy actually seems to give a shit about the half toasted screechy bitch from hell.....oh....wait...he just tore off her gullet...ew"

"Dude, ever hear of Manicure? Dang"

Now I'm hooked on the graphic novels, there's a background on them, who knew?...or cared...

{they seem to be making a Sequel film}
