Tomorrow!
Start of a new semester for our homeschool group Which means my cooking class turns from teenagers to 5 little peanut girls, 6-10 years old. We are making sweet potato soup and molasses bread. And it means my daughter will be starting the new teen chorus group, yoga, history of math, and art classes lined up for the semester. And I just plain love Fridays because it's my day off from work and I get to buddy up with my friends/parents of the other kids at our homeschool group. We are all so different and have so much fun together. They feed my soul. |

I'm looking forward to the upcoming Holidays. I usually get a holiday bonus and lots of paid time off. I'm looking forward to relaxing, maybe going to Colorado for Christmas, and paying off some bills with my bonus money.

Waking up bright & early tomorrow, taking the ferry to Galveston and meeting up with some of D's cousins for girls day :) The day will start with mimosas at brunch and then shopping at the new outlet mall. COACH here I come! Celebrating my dad's 72nd birthday on Sunday! Ssssssssh, I am also looking forward to putting up my Christmas decorations on Thanksgiving night :winky: |

A trip to the mountains in the near future...sitting in silence on the highest point on the BRP, breathing in the cool mountain air, contemplating the beauty of nature and feeling so close to the Universe...it's very healing and grounding...

Run
looking forward to...Sunday's run on the beach I've not seen in a week! 7mi leading to 14mi of clear, crisp, but warm light on the veridian changing sea...damn I have missed this beach, and this run...they chained off the entrance, perhaps to keep folks safe from the ocean's surge last weekend...but I'm biting at the bit, and want to run...want to feel the sea breeze against my thighs, and the sand pull at each foot fall...yes, I miss the run...and the beach.
