1. See shrink for 3 month supply of medication refill slip - Done
2. Take happy pill in front of watching me like a hawk to ensure compliance, over zealous because this is her first home care license ever, DIL to be - Done 3. Do dishes I hid in oven so I didn't have to unload the clean dishes from the dishwasher and load it with the dirty ones before Ms. Worrying Too Much About Contamination, things you can't even catch from dirty dishes, arrives to smile about me having played house beautiful and washing them all up in a timely fashion - Done 4. Rejoice and thank the Universe for, happy surprise, nurse supervisor calling to apologize for receptionist screwing up and booking me for exam when insurer will now only pay for gynecology check every two years instead of one - Work still in progress. This joy might last awhile 5. Celebrate being able to get out of these stuffy clothes and into bum around more comfortable ones much sooner than expected due to no longer having to go in and get infiltrated. 6. Re-pack moving boxes in the front room. I was going to re-pack one by one all the stuff in my crummy boxes into the regulation size nice ones they've provided free of charge/are demanding. However it just occurred to me – why. All I have to do is take the already packed full crummy ones, stick them into the much nicer regulation sized ones, tape them closed and voilà! Much, much easier. 7. Have some drunch. This comes when it's too early for dinner, yet way past the time you'd normally have lunch. I've missed breakfast and lunch both and my morning snack plus I haven't had all of my four cups of coffee with half and half yet, just two it's been that busy. I'm famished. 8. Make dessert - lightly sweetened with Truvia whipped cream with mashed up canned fruit, pineapple and mandarin orange segements, folded in. 9. And last but not least, window shop online for nice, affordable things I'll be needing for myself and the grandkids in the new place. |

Anything I wanted turned out to be a very long nap (I did not sleep very well at the group home), watching movies, doing laundry, and looking at recipes on Pinterest. |

Our HR/Business Manager is back from maternity leave, and suddenly I have TWICE as much to do, not HALF as I expected. I have:
- my regular work - other people's regular work - special projects for my boss - projects I got "volunteered" for at yesterday's staff meeting. After all that (or four hours, whichever comes first), I will: - go home and eat leftover Chinese - take the doggie out - get in a nap - have some dinner - read a book (well, listen on audio) |
Today
I have work to do. I have to do a lecture and get some work done on my dissertation. I also have a doctors appointment to learn to use my new CGM. which WITH copays cost me over 300 bucks so i Really do NOT wanna fuck it up! |

I'm about done! I still have laundry to do and to start the dishwasher but it's already locked and loaded so that's nothing, really. I got up and showered and went to the salon and got a bangin' slightly new do, went to the bank, went to Walmart and then finished up at Stop & Shop and was sorely disappointed that the very same litter that I got at Walmart half an hour earlier was on sale at Stop & Shop and cheaper. Doh!
Neither store had one of my items so I'll be doing a tiny Amazon order before bed as well. I've played with the kitties and have filled their bellies so I'll need to wash their dishes and clean their box and add in the new litter before bed as well as taking out the recycling and maybe the trash too. It's close but not 100% full. We'll see. I've watched some telly and played online (including a new version of Spider Solitaire that's interesting). I didn't get much sleep last night because I stayed up late watching NCIS reruns (I never get bored with that show) so once that stuff is done, it'll be just the things I normally do before bed and maybe a quick game of laser tag with the kitties and then it will be lights out. |

:flying: Oh with that dimension no wonder I needed a shoe horn to guide me in! After a few salty snacks and sugary sodas during the flight I practically needed the "Jaws of Life" to pry me out... |
I get to leave work early today! My agenda:
- process checks - reconcile Visa statement - stop playing on bfp, right after this post Go home, and: - have Chinese food on the way - feed and love on the dog and monitor her closely for any signs of tummy upset - reclean some spots on the carpet that didn't quite get clean enough yesterday - watch "The Good Place" on Netflix |

https://wellnessmama.com/6544/whipped-body-butter/ And here’s what I do... I weigh and combine the following in a large Pyrex measuring cup:
Next I put the Pyrex measuring cup in a large pot of hot water to slowly melt the butters with the oils (the shea and cocoa butters are hard). Once or twice I’ll add hot water to the pot and will stir occasionally until everything is melted. I let it cool on the counter for 15 minutes once everything is melted, then I put the Pryrex cup in the freezer for about an hour or two till it starts to harden on the perimeter. After it hardens a bit, I pull it out of the freezer and whip it with an emulsion blender for a few minutes until it’s mixed well. And I put it in plastic containers I bought at Amazon. I learned how to make soap and lotion but you damn near have to be a chemist to make soap and lotion includes water (which can turn to mold if you don’t use the right ingredients). Body butters are easy-peasy to make. You can add scented essence oils but I don’t. The older I get the more dry my skin gets and my skin loves this body butter combination. I use it daily after showering. I hope you didn’t think I used a body :) |
