Hey, people save up to retire here! c'mon

Makes sense! I am really hoping that the damn housing situation begins to level out soon (just can't sell my place at a loss). I do have to relocate. What really sux is being on such a tight budget (my dividend income took a big nose dive in this recession and has not climbed back up much yet) that I can't really travel and that is what I need to so I can check out regions. Right now, a lot of stuff is going on for me right now. But, things will eventually turn around.

Yanno.... the Austinites are always welcome at my place if they vacation in California. I'm a great tour guide and treat guests just like I was from the South! Must have been that 21 years with a woman from 'Bama!!!

And Hey- look what your sweetheart says about Texas!!

Damn, this sucks. I had Sunday off, and would have loved to do this, but my boss's car is in the shop and she can't get a ride up here.

It must be the thin air.

Father June will forgive you.

Eventually.

If you make amends to all the TX femmes.

That's a given love! Far too important to make the same list with such trivial things as taxes and DMV fees! Am I out of the doghouse yet???

Love you always!

Keep working on it buddy,,sooner or later that crater you are in will be just a small hole that you have to climb out of,,but it could take years. I'll throw more rope down to you. I'm helpful like that.

Wait a minute! I'm following a trail back, and I don't know if I have all the details, but am I to gather that Ebon said that there are no REAL femmes in Texas???

If that's so, he might want to be careful if he ever comes down to Houston. (Red-headed hackles raising...)

I'm *so* glad the *doh!* things I said years ago have not been publicly quoted here. :)

Wait. I can do that. I'll be right back...

On second thought... I have too many of my own. Let's keep a lid on that!

Arwen 04-16-2011 08:28 PM

I'm so very sorry that it's come to this.

But after so much time struggling to maintain a friendship with someone, I find that I cannot do so any longer.

I must officially and sadly publicly end my friendship with someone in the Austin community.

Y'all KNOW how much I hate drama but I have to do this publicly. I need your support in this.

I will need you to help me turn my back to this person.
I will need you to help me be strong and not read their DAMNED PICTURE TEXTS full of teh kitteh cuteness.

Yes, it's true. I'm unfriending Blush and Goofy.

Dang it. I'm at least cutting them off from sending me picture texts.

But it's a VERY cute kitteh. And we have more pictures. Be warned. And afraid.

Arwen 04-16-2011 09:26 PM

Can someone tell the danged redheaded boy and his adorable partner that I'm not speaking to them? Kthnkxbai

Must go turn off my email and text.

And stop trying to come up with names.

What do you think of Sasha?

blush 04-16-2011 09:41 PM

*stalking*
What about Sassyfrass? That's a nice name.
The kitten likes pizza. And dogs.

I'm just curious, as I don't have the breasts to pull off the painted look, but I wouldn't mind going just to see what folks wear. :)

Sassy is cute but common. Hmmm..

While *Sassy* may be common, Sassyfrass is not.

She doesn't look like a Guinevere.

Yes but it would get shortened to Sassy. I'll probably ask her to help me name her. Yes, I'm weird.

Chutney?

Puplove 04-16-2011 10:20 PM

Update for this Friday's extravaganza (it's just too...too to say eggstravaganza):

6pm spaghetti dinner
by 7pm, we can start the egg coloring and basket making, general festivities, good times

We're making baskets for a senior home with Alzheimer's ward -- they have 50 residents there. The activities director told me there are about 20 residents who never have guests or anything. What's wrong with their families???

N-E-way, we're planning on bringing 50 baskets to hand out, with a couple eggs, some candies and a little non-food item like puzzle book or keep-warm bootie socks.

If you haven't already told me or the Oiley Beauhunk you're coming, will you send one of us a PM?

If you're coming, will you please bring a dozen already-boiled eggs? We could use a couple more dye kits.

We'll get some kind of festive little baskets and stuff

For those coming from out of town...don't worry about bringing eggs, too hard to try to transport them and stuff.
