I bought a new broom handle, a small organizing case for my beads and jewelry, a new can opener, dryer sheets, post its, a few vacuum seal bags and a book light.

I didn't buy but I got a free upgrade on my phone and now am an iphone user. I have to say, I really like it. It's so easy compared to my blackberry!

And I bought my daughter a laptop that she really really needed. Hers has been bottoming out over the last year and it was time. We even got a shelf model and that saved some money and that made me happy.

I have needed a new laptop for a year too. However, I am fortunate to have a friendly neighbor who refurbishes computers. He had a computer laying around that was the exact model I have. So he swapped out hard drives and now I pretty much have a new computer. And that was a free upgrade! Well I gave him a beer. So it cost me a beer.

Very high tech day around here.

We started a playful argument over it and he reminded me that while he couldn't fire me for such a thing, I should really be nice to him *laughs* He's so cookey sometimes :)

Well my two hours of pool was free with coupons from a friend so I got a beer, a mixed drink, an apple pie shot and bar food! This platter had chicken tenders, wings, spicy curly fries, mozza sticks, deep fried mushrooms/zucchini and deep fried pepperoni. It was only 7 dollars but damn it had a lot of food and it didn't even seem overly greasy! That was BEFORE I had my drinks.

Getting ready to head to the drug store to buy some of that stuff to glue back on a temporary crown...yep, it fell off after only ONE DAY!! grrrrr

I bought a few things at the market today and I am trying not to mix it up with what I received in a barter exhange for my services.

I bought: a loaf of fresh baked sourdough bread and a loaf of whole wheat sandwich bread, granola, fresh produce -cabbage, beets, beans, spinach, tomato, peppers, winter squash, sweet potato, onion, carrot


I was given honey, apples, a fruit pie, fresh pita bread, fresh white cheddar/mozza cheese curds, a berry blend jam and a jalapeno cheddar bread for my services.

Merry, you did wayyy better than I did!!!

I came home from the drug store with:

1. Dental repair kit (reminds me of fix a flat for teef)
2. Funions (onion ring chips) - oh yeah, reallly needed this!
3. 5 Hour energy drink
4. Cough Syrup (DM version)
5. Mucinex
6. Box of Kleenex
7. Cough Drops
8. Aunt Jemima Butter Lite Syrup

I bought milk at the corner store and a bag of parmesean garlic chips.

I bought so many things after work today!

One of the department stores are going out of business so EVERYTHING was 60-90% off and with my points card I got another 5-10% discounted which worked out to mean that everything was tax free!

I think I am set for groceries and household products for the next month (or more) AND I managed to get most of what I needed to pack, organize and move. I got two wooden clothes drying racks for 4 dollars each and they are collapsable, which means I can easily transport it when I travel.

I bought totes, tape, sharpies, file folders and a bunch of other things to sort my project/business expenses.

I bought a few little easter goodies, personal essentials and even a few pots and pans.

It was a great day!

I bought:

A large gourmet coffee AND a large caramel coffee coolatta!!

Purchased minutes apart from each other and ingested with pure happiness and vigor... hee hee :giggle:

I bought a fruit smoothie from orange julius, when I actually took my lunch late in the day.

I also bought a cinnamon roll from a bake sale.

I was given an extra luggage lock and some bubble wrap for traveling. I am not sure the bubble wrap will last that long - I may use it for a diversion for my temper. If it DOES make it, I will likely use it as a source of entertainment while I set up camp.

i bought a venti raspberry passiontea lemonade from MY favorite starbucks barista..!!
