How short life is. One moment everything is fine and the next breath everything can change....

how much Cybersuebee's signature quote has affected me today

Women are Angels

And when someone breaks our wings....

We simply continue to fly.........on a broomstick...

We are flexible like that

I have one of those too...Shelia gave me a Shiatsu massage chair pads a few years ago and the combination is wonderfully relaxing!

I'm hoping that they won't take it out on the whale. It was just doing what it's programmed to do. They didn't even seem to think it was trying to kill the trainer - just "played". Killer whales play rough. The poor beast belongs in the sea!

This is the THIRD time a human has perished in the presence of Tilikum (sp?) (1991, 1999, and now). He has had several people and organizations write to SeaWorld and the place he was at before to request/demand that he not be shown and displayed and/or be released back into the wild.

While I certainly don't think he should be put down, I do believe that they should cut their losses (since he's a well-used stud male) and release him back into the wild.

I need to listen to more perky, carefree music rather than this angsty, love-ridden stuff. But it is soooo good. Dilemma dilemma.

My body is a mix of emotions, some good and some bad...Realizing that I have found my home and having people who care about me. After spending the last two days talking, crying and talking some more, to find a wonderful friend in my last partner. Realizing, that our friendship meant more to us than a romantic relationship, and having my mother approve of my decision to remain here in the PNW.

One day, I hope to be like her, the balls to the wall kind of woman I have always wanted to be. Thanks to my new friends up here, I am going to do some soul searching and find this person who exists within me.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me since I moved up here..

Hugs!!!

My first crush when I was 8. She was a youth leader for our church. And how my adopted parents wouldnt let me around her. She was so beautiful. Finding her on facebook and catching up after all these years. Still just as sweet and beautiful as ever. She was single at that time. Now she is married with kids. Wow... it feels like yesterdaiy since that time. When really it was so long ago. And what a difference all these years have made. :) It was really nice

apretty 02-27-2010 06:27 PM

what to do with all these fruits and veggies (co-op, this morning! yay!)

hpychick 02-27-2010 06:46 PM

I'm thinking of cobblers, and pies and turnovers for the fruits...veggies - how about a lovely au gratin or in a crepe? Yum yum yum.

That anyone could find the use of a Yahrzeit candle even remotely amusing...how completely hurtful whether intended or not.
