It is rarely helpful to tell an hysterical person to calm down, get over it, or cheer up. Those words (the intention behind them, or lack there of) only create a resurgence in the person, of their list of grievances. They need to be heard and validated. Let them flail, commiserate, hold them, pour them a cocktail (if appropriate) or tea, and they will calm eventually. Sometimes it's hard to let go of one's misery when there has been no witness. Later, when they are calm and willing, you can offer assistance or suggestions for resolution. But never psycho-analyze someone you care about, especially while they are freaking out. Just hold their hand if they let you.

I am fascinated to see what happens. 690 miles an hour. He is attempting to break the speed of sound.
Currently delayed due to weather. The earliest launch is 11:30 am MST.

The launch has been cancelled today due to the wind.
Because of the size of the balloon the wind has to be under 2 miles an hour.
