I am sooo tired of Liars!
OOPS thought this asked "What are you tired of?" oh well...either way..LIARS! |
Still tired of problematic.
Oh, and also dismissive. Tired of that word too. I mean, can't everybody go get a thesaurus and find alternate ways to say problematic and dismissive? Every single conversation I have in real life or read on the internet has one of those words (but usually both!) in there somewhere. UGH. |

"buy-in" as in "We want to make sure we have everyone's buy-in on this project before we proceed" OH!!! also "swagging" (from SWAG- scientific wild-ass guess) Can you tell i've been in a lot of meetings lately where the main agenda item was "enable administration to offload onto staff the responsibility and accountability for pointless projects that are getting rammed through whether staff likes it or not" /bitter |
OH! also "gently used" (unless you're describing my...tender parts) |
"Basically"
"Man Cave" As in the Avery commercial "Basically she disrespected* my man cave." *cited in previous post |

~If~ As in "IF ONLY..." |
Trying- as in I'm trying. You likely are not if we are having this conversation.

I am tired of hearing this phrase - "What the American People Want" or "What the American people are saying..." Who are the "American People"? And how do the users of such a phrase know what we want? Have they spoken to each every one of us?
No one asked me. And I don't want many of the things the so called "American People" want. Aren't I part of the American People? Ok, I will get off my box now. But it vexes me every time I hear that phrase. grr! |
And while I am at it...
Win-Win Situation and Do More with Less These two phrases are truly wearing out my last nerve! These two phrases have been worn out since the last 3 lay offs. |
