Not love at all.

Is it better to put your money in a savings account or invest it?

Use the credit card in order to improve your credit score, but pay off the card in full each month.

Is it better to have a job that you like with little stress, or have a job that you love but it comes with long hours and a lot of stress?

A job that you like with little stress

Is it better to have all bills paid or pay them a little bit every month?

Typically if bills are not paid on time or not paid in full, interest gets added to them. How could that ever be a good thing? So, yes, it is better to pay your bills in full every month.

Is it better to enjoy your money now, or to not "play" as much now (invest your money), so that you don't risk having not enough money when you retire/are no longer able to work?

You are so right. I started doing this year's ago and it forced me to live within my means.

Invest or save your money for retirement or a rainy day. My advice is to go with something conventional and conservative (401k, IRAs, property, stocks).

Is it better to master one thing or to be a jack of all trades?

Diet soda has formaldehyde in it so regular soda is the way to go if you are going to drink soda.

Is it better to see into the future but not be able to change anything or to have the power to change the future without knowing what's coming or the consequence?

One the one hand, I would love to be able to see the future even if I couldn't change anything. But on the other hand, I couldn't live with myself if I knew I had a chance to make some changes and didn't do it, regardless of the outcome.

So, I'd go with making changes.

Is it better to have book smarts or street smarts?

Street smarts...........

Is it better to have firm plans or fly by the seat of your pants

Firm plans. Spontaneity can produce great results, but you can also end up with a dud. I'd rather make plans.

Is it better to have the respect of your children or your parents?

Boy tough one.......I guess parents (the one thing I DO KNOW is that you never realize how smart your parents REALLY were until you're older)

Is it better to clear the air RIGHT AWAY or wait and collect your thoughts?

That's a tough one it depends on the situation.

Is it better to be blind about misgivings or have grace towardsa person?

Wait and collect your thoughts. I like to clear the air right away, but I that's not always the best way. I think it's better to wait, sit on it, become clear on what you think. Then have the discussion.

But we can say that about all "Is it better" questions, can't we?

I think having grace toward another's misgivings is the best way to go.

Is it better to quit a job you've had for 10 years and start all over in an entry-level position in hopes of doing what you've always wanted to do, or is it better to continue working at a job where you have seniority but it gives you no satisfaction?

OMG I'm currently in this exact situation!! LOL! Well due to financial obligations ; we just bought the house less than a year ago) and my seniority and FMLA for my disabled spouse, I stay at my job with not much satisfaction. :seeingstars: But I tell myself I make good money and I have health insurance, etc. However, if I ever hit that lottery I will quit. IS IT BETTER to try alternative medicine (herbs, homeopathy, reiki, accupressure, etc) or stick with traditional medicine the family doctor prescribes?
