I love love LOVE both Javier and Beverly :-)
|
I just finished watching the show on Hulu
Personally, the first 3 songs didn't work well with the people singing the songs and made for weak performances The last song was perfect for the 2 singing and brought out the best in both of their voices Everyone was rockin' to an old rock song, I wanted them both to win In my heart though, I knew Beverly would win with her strong vocals Looking forward to the next week and can say I am a fan of this show I have never watched any of the other similar shows.....ever!!! This one has me hooked because these stars had only a voice to go on and nothing more when choosing |
Ok its Tuesday night and we all know what that means---our weekly dose of The V (voice that is)
so convo between Jo and I as i realize what day it was me: Dammit its tues, and ive already took my night meds Jo: so? me: its The Voice night JO: we are DVRing it me: but the damn thread will tell all Jo: stay out of it then me: Thats like telling you to mind your own business! JO:  thats true just a thought...Party at Gemme/Ebons house for the finale?...i LOVE austin and would love to come back to visit :) |
If you're sleeping, you cannot come in the thread, silly.
Tonight is AI's performance finale, so I'll be switching back and forth. |

tis true, but its like this BFP is an addiction-a drug--a baaaaad one so if i wake up early or cant go back to sleep i will be signing on,and will not be able to fight the urge to read the thread....i know i should seek help for this, but that requires time and effort--which would take away from said addiction and welll i cant be having that!! so ill just have to watch it tonight! |
Thanks for the reminder!

That first girl is not doing very well. Don't like either one.

Tonight is a dud for me so far.

i keep telling Jo it HAS to sound different/better in the studio there bc it is sounding like karaoke night at the local backwoods bar tonight

I liked both of them on that one...hard to choose. Makes me wish they could keep both of the last two...and knock out both of the first pairing instead.
|
Adams team was the only one that sounded good overall!....hope the live part is better
|
Booo on the sisters! That blond one can't sing as well as the dark haired girl. Tonights show was ok.

Battle #1
Christina Aguilera Raquel Castro and Julia Eason "Only Girl in the World" Raquel Battle #2 Blake Shelton Dia Frampton and Serabee "Can't Hurry Love" Dia A note on this one....Serabee screwed herself when she decided to not take Blake's advice about oversinging it. I think she has more range, but who wants to work with someone who won't listen to someone who actually has a margin of success, unlike herself (despite her saying she's sung to 10,000 before)? Battle #3 Adam Levine Devon Barley and Rebecca Loebe "Creep" Devon Battle #4 Tori/Taylor Thompson and Kelsey (not positive of her last name...Ray?) "Unwritten" The Thompson sisters I didn't care either way about Christina's as I didn't care for either girl at all. I chose Dia, Rebecca and Kelsey. Obviously, I was not in tune with the coaches tonight. |
