Those that play Farmville app., The "wedding cake" in that Tuscany theme? It's ridiculously HUGE, almost as big as the dutch windmill.... The Dog is almost not worth the headache, ya gotta feed the Pooch at a presice time or he runs off {and it really would STINK if the dog runs away after u spent 300,000 gold on him, and only farmville dollars bring him back, there's the cheap one, but, some folks like certain breeds y'know?} Family Feud needs to put more Games per day, the wait sux.. Yeah I'm a fan of facebook,, all the people at my school are on it all the time!! I used to farm but don't have time for it anymore too much work to do, anyway its a good way to connect with people.

Finally figured a way around my Facebook boundary issues so I just set up another account to use for the fun stuff! Gayla Dubyah..find me, friend me, etc. me.

Last night I couldn't sleep so I was looking up names from out of my past on Facebook. I entered the name of someone I was once very close to but have had very little contact with over the last 15 years. It wasn't hard to locate her because of her unusual name.
I decided to check out her FB friends. Clicking on one that looked a lot like someone local but with an entirely different name and unknown to me, I noticed the section to the left showed two mutual friends. :| These mutual friends are local friends I see several times a year. So the person who was in my life long ago, D, is friends with V, who is friends with my two friends........ Three different states and a minimum of 1900 miles apart. Yeah, I am on Facebook. After MUCH hesitation about joining (because I didn't want FB to eat away my time), I joined. It isn't so bad. I just have to close the window and answer all of those notices, referrals and other communications later.
I use it for a local group that I started and to advertise my stores and the things that I am selling on Ebay to raise money for a down payment on a truck (among other things that I desperately need now). I have found many of the people that I went to high school with, which is a GOOD thing. And, I am still looking for some of the people that I know, have known or are relatives (and I have a lot of them). I used to play Mafia Wars. But, now it just brings back painful memories. So, I am regularly robbed, killed and maimed and I don't really care. I am sorta addicted to Bejeweled Blitz (shhh...don't tell my mom). I used to play 'Yoville', too, just so I could fish. But, I had to quit. I developed fisher's elbow...haha. Now, I read my horoscope everyday and look at the app that has my daily Tarot card. I think it is interesting how often they are in opposition. I stay in touch with my little sister, who I miss very much. She is such a sweet, amazing person. So, I guess you could say that I am GLAD Facebook is there. Yeah...... |
Someone I hadn't seen in years, who I adore so much that I squealed when I saw her name, found me on facebook this week. After the initial "hi, how are you's", we moved the conversation off of facebook on to private email, though.
This is only the second person that I've reconnected with via facebook. Through linkedin, however, I've reconnected with dozens of folks. I still use facebook primarily to advertise my jewelry and to find metalsmithing resources. |

I'm addicted to FV. I am so diggin the Groovy cow and yes I have a hippie section on my farm. The "wedding crap" yeah.. its a bit much but I still play. I'm all about the gnomes and for those who really know me, understand my obsession with the gnomes.. its almost like having my own umpa lumpa~ville! |
