Happiness is spending a slightly intoxicated night (thank you wine) with my sweetie listening to music.

I had a rough day with a family member... But it was all juxtaposed against some real great feelings...
Happiness is doing the work to get the grant... and walking into the organization to deliver the check.... and feeling the appreciation Happiness is seeing a retired client who volunteers at above organization on the way in AND the way out... and talking theatre to him and his volunteer partner... Happiness is feeling back on track with work.... Happiness is walking through the parking lot of Ralphs and bumping into other business owners and standing in the warm sun to talk... Happiness is coming home and my wife cooking me a healthy dinner... Happiness is listening to a President speaking who I don't always agree with... but at least I am not afraid of him... Happiness is the end of the day.... |
Seeing the light come on in my dog's eyes as I gave him the command to open the refrigerator. He finally got it today! He grabbed hold of the rope and pulled the door open happily! Yes! He was so proud of himself! lol
Next stage is to teach him to fetch me a soda from there, and to go back and close the door. :) |

Happiness Is...
Deciding to drive home for the day to spend time with my family and my best friend. Cuddle and play time with my adorable nephew who is the love and light of my existence. My furbaby Alex, who couldn't come with me when I moved and him curling up on his mama's lap all night. Sleepytired adorableness that I missed very, very much. |
Happiness is a car ride with my wife just to enjoy the day, talk, and, laugh.

Getting good news from the new boss yesterday. and... Getting an AWESOME very high complement from a co-worker today...Happiness is being told: "of all the people they interviewed"...I "blew them out of the water!!" Happiness is... feeling my confidence return and finding what I think just may be THE JOB..... you know? THE kind of job that isn't really a JOB because you enjoy it so much!! Happiness is.... having so much Positive vibes and so many Positive things happen. |

As brief as it is... having my wife lean into my shoulder as we cuddle in bed... mid afternoon on a Sunday...
And knowing that we are coming back to it tonight... after a phone conference and her drive to a Italian restaurant pick up.... Tonight and, God willing, another night this week... and the weekend coming up ... and days and evenings ahead.... as long as we have.... It is the simple things that bring me the greatest joy... |

The Movie" for a second time with all of the above...

Waking up to ABOVE zero temps..... Watching the Sun shine bright! Good Friends... Family.... Memories... Mellow Yellow (that I so need to say goodbye to) Smelling a roast in the slow cooker with taters and carrots!! Thinking about LITTLE ROCK and the friendships I made. |
Sunshine and above freezing weather this afternoon!
Spending a lazy Saturday evening with a hot redhead! Cajun food for supper! Our oldest daughter and her fiance to be, coming over later to watch old home movies! Delivering my Harley gas tank and fenders to the painter tomorrow to have them custom painted! Plans to attend Reunion 2011! That winter is almost over.... |

Happiness is... A warm, bright sunny afternoon. Taking a walk with the flat-faced lovedog. Spending the afternoon at the shelter, and seeing a recently adopted pittie pie return with her new Daddy to say hello. Looking forward to an evening of wonderful conversation and sweet words that show me faith and passion. |

Peace of mind is happyness for me today,being able to sleep till 9a.m. insted of geting up before the crack of dawn to go to work early in my new position at work...I am NOT a morning person but will ajust to the time diffrence.
