I am thankful for my mom....... she has just went off to Cuba on Thursday with her sister (and nephews, one is getting married there). I had been worried cause I have not heard from her and the airport & airline did not keep up-to-date information. So all day long (on Thursday) I was wondering if she ever made it. I know I worry to much when it comes to my mom, my son & my girl (f). Anyways.......she called on Saturday and all is well :)

somedays I scowl, and grumble because we all have them- the shitty days- but I am thankful to be alive. To breathe one more day.

Having a job even though the pay isn't always great at least I have a home to go home to-see so many people living out of their vehicles at these truck stops here lately. Especially in Texas.

Medical advances in neurosurgical procedures. And, pretty much all surgical areas during the last 25 years. Less invasive techniques, shorter hospital stays and less time under general anesthesia.
Now, can we make certain that every individual in this country be able to take advantage of these advances and live better lives? |
After almost three weeks in the hospital, I am thankful that my father will be coming home in a day or two...

You have to know how much I love pancakes to appreciate this. Plus I can't flip them so I need someone else to cook them. My girlfriend HATES pancakes so I never get to eat them. I was VERY thankful. |
