Hey all!
It was a fun and busy weekend - just now able to get on a computer.
Weekend in the country - visiting old friends and making a bunch of new ones. Lots of laughs around the fire. good times.

Ruthie - I know how you feel. It seems I can never figure out what the heck is going on! I hope things work out for you.

THERE IS
NOTHING
WRONG WITH YOU

Apparently, you two just didn't click. It happens Ruthie. However, your date was already showing poor signs of communication, so it just may be a good thing how it ended up.

Chalk this one up for experience. Not every single person you meet will work out. There's lots of weeding to be performed prior to walking in the Garden of Love.

I think you're super special and any Butch that's fortunate enough to cross your path, will know that instantly when you're just being you.

Thanks folks.. Idk.. I thought we were hitting it off. I questioned her bc her words and her actions were telling me 2 different things. Anyway.. onward. *shrug*

Anybody have any career ideas? I need to change what I am doing. I don't make enough and I am 48 ... need to start trying to save something. Everything I have been able to come up with in the last 2 years either takes too much college... too hard on my back... don't have an apptitude for.. or there is no job market for. I need to figure out something soon. Thanks.

RUTHIE, there is a job market in healthcare. Nursing, medical assistant like I did and should have done nursing instead!! Will go back after I graduate from school want to make some money first. but you can't go wrong with the healthcare field its booming, just my .02 cents worth. Anyway, good morning lofters have a great day everyone!! sets out tea:tea: and coffee

Daktari 06-29-2010 05:21 AM

G'day Lofters one and all.

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, there's been some proper sunshine and temperatures here in the UK for the last couple of weeks so Mrs.Incubus and I have spent the weekend whipping the garden back into shape and enjoying getting nekkid in the sun - the most enjoyable way of getting one's vitamin D! :groucho:

Oooooh the vagaries of dating, keep kissing frogs Ruthie because eventually you'll find a lovely froggy to share a lily pad with.

Please ignore that person. You are a gem! Never forget that. Some lucky guy will be thrilled to have you on his arm!

ok ... "She" and i had left it as friends right. So today I invite her to a 4th of July party I'm having on Sat. She turns me down, so I ask her... we are still gonna see each other as friends yes? She gets sarcastic... mean actually... and NO not friends. Really? she was the one who wanted to be friends again... OMG .. She was hurtful.. I am better off without her.. but ouch.. it still hurts. I am having trouble with "this" version of her and the one I saw the rest of the time. Dodged a bullet for sure.. Jeeze I sure can pick them.

ruthie14 06-30-2010 04:15 AM

Tired today but just have one job to work so i should be able to rest tonight. Feeling better about things and myself. Not one to stay down long, life is wayyyyyyyyyy to short for that.

Anybody know anything about being an ultrasound tech? Gonna see if there is a job market for that around here.

Have a wonderful day friends!

Ruthie

Ultrasound tech there are plenty of jobs in that area at least up north NJ. In fact there is a school in clifton that is starting classes in JUly 2010. YOu should definitely look into that or nursing. That's what I'm gonna do after I move out of NJ, look for schools of nursing in the state I'm living in. good luck Ruthie!!
