Watching Criminal Minds...maybe I should have a crime scene investigator instead of my current occupation

Today was the first day of May,
and my day was spent mostly here at home:

I baked some cookies, made a dish of pasta for supper tonight,
spent the better part of the day exchanging emails with a potential
employer, and I just watched the sun go down.... leaving a beautiful
haze of pinks, purples and streaks of deep oranges against an almost
indigo shade of late evening sky. I can even see the first star of the night, right now.
I listened to a lot of music today, too and just finished my day by listening to:
This Mortal Coil's cover of Song to the Siren
(my favorite version of this song, ever).

Laying in bed contemplating getting up

Texting chatter with my gorgeous fiancee before she begins her day at work. Such a loving and thoughtful woman she is!! :)

Checking my work email
Reading lots of great posts on here

Watching, Nashville. Lord, it could be a lot better!
Having a cold cup of tea.
Really wanting a smoke!

Today, after I walk over to pay the rent, I'm going to

(in no particular order):

• do a little house cleaning (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom)
• go pick up my mail from the mailbox
• go over to the washateria and wash some blankets
• go for a walk this evening
• figure out something to make for supper tonight
• write a long letter to my oldest son
• check up on my mother tonight
• decide on what to wear for an interview next week
• trim my hair just a skosh
• try to find my allergy medicine (I broke out in zillions of tiny pink polka dots today)
• to let go and not worry so much (if possible)
• remember to breathe deeply
• to smile (even when I have so little to smile about)

Watching the last ep of, Hannibal. Oh its good!
Having a smoke. I bought some today! Couldn't help my self! :S
Wanting a new cup of tea!
Waiting for the husband to come home from work.
As its a bank holiday weekend he gets to come home early today! Yay me!
