I'm being very, very quiet because it's early, very early, this morning. I think I only slept about 5 hours. But I'll make up for it this afternoon, I think.

Happy Sunday morning friends,

I slept in late this morning with the kitties. I am now up and watching CBS Sunday Morning News. Today I will cook, clean, and mow. My place looks beautiful with green grass and wild flowers.

Hi, not long maybe 4 months. She came on after Charles retired. She does a good job.

Always loved Jane,she got a raw deal over on NBC where's Deborah Norville now, hosting Inside Addition (said with a smirk)..........


Why do the suits at these big networks always think younger & prettier are more important that tried and true! I'll take someone like Walter Cronkite over flashy Matt Lauer any day! (getting off my soapbox now)

Yes, I remember that. Jane did get a raw deal from the suits. She hung in there and now she has this show. She is strong and talented.

Busy day for me. I have been cooking all weekend. Getting ready to take some homemade chili over to my auntie. Then back home to get ready for a busy week ahead!

We picked up Hal and skipped Church today; instead, we took a trip up to Idllywild for Italian food at a place called "Ferros".

All of the food is homemade, including the bread, pasta and pizza dough...omg the bread is the best I have ever had in my entire life!

The rest of the day will be spent reading, napping and planning our next trip for bread, I mean Italian food! Lol

Happy Sunday morning friends,

I slept in this morning but after that it was not overeasy. As soon as I set down in my recliner my mom called to say she was safe. I had no Idea what was going on and needed to catch up right away. I checked all the news and weather stations and put the truck in a safe place. The storm came on strong and has moved on. Now I can start my Sunday overeasy.

Good morning lovely people!

We are doing all of our usual Sunday stuff (Church, food), unless something better comes up...lol

Last week the Church parking lot was overflowing, so we went for a drive and lunch out...sometimes you have to worship God in your heart instead of in a building.

I just took out a couple of rib-eye steaks for dinner tonight, and I think I will throw together a German potato salad and call it a meal.

my house was full of people this morning, as my husband and some friends decided they wanted to go to the flea market in our town. Its the largest in our area. (I opted not to go so i could sleep in some) they returned with knives, a walking cane with a sword in it, zombie bumper stickers, coffees, and some dog toys!

In a bit, we are heading out to the tack shed to tackle more of the horse tack I have to put up for sale. Lord this is a never ending process!

Steaks for us too, today. Later on our grill. Its going to be in the 60s here. Sunshine and pleasant. Lots more to do in the yard too...

I had a very nice and long tea date with a good friend this morning. Now I'm home for Sunday chores. The sun is out and the temps are warming up - yay!!!
