Another day of cleaning here and going through cupboards, closets, and drawers!

Started the day with a cold mug of kefir while I cooked hash browns with garlic & onion, topped with a couple of poached eggs. Next came a shower, and got started on my chore list.

We are supposed to get some rain today, but we need it, so that's all good.

Still have a load of laundry to do and some prep cooking for the week ahead, otherwise the day is mine to do as I please. I think i will read. :)

It's warm enough today that I was able to have brunch on my balcony for the first time this spring. The leaves on the trees in front of it are starting to grow back. I spend the whole summer with my porch shaded cool misty green by those trees. I can't wait to have that back. Looking forward to spending lots of time there this summer.

I'm trying to decide how much or how little I want to get done today :) I know I plan to be outside as much as possible as the sun is shining and the temps are rising! Will do some spring yard clean up and probably take the winter plastic off of the back porch screens and set up for that to be our primary hang out room for the next nine months :)

Headed out in a little while to a friends house. We will do some target practice and once enough people come over.... Play volleyball. And the dog is staring out the front door and keeps looking at me. How can I resist? I'll take her with me.

Waiting for my sister to get home to relieve me of daddy duty. It's 0630 here.
I'm going to get latte on way home to drink while I read Sunday paper,then women's softball game at nearby college PLU,then to Home Depot where they are having a 10% off today....... So paint and supplies for my spring painting at my tri-plex will happen.

I slept in this morning. The kitten is literally flying through the house playing. I am watching CBS Sunday Morning News and planning my day. It may be a mowing kind of day.

The sun is shining and the birds are singing. I'll take Tiny Dog out in a few minutes. But right now, we both agree, it's time to snuggle back down into the covers for a little while.

I'm going to have a little nap and think about the rest of my Sunday later.

gorgeous day here! in the 70s and so clear!

today is my grand daughter's 3rd birthday party at a roller skating rink. Yes, she loves to roller skate! She has NO fear! Her Woody Toy Story doll is already wrapped and we are just waiting for time to pass to head out.

after the party, we are so busy!
the lawn guy is coming over to mow for the first time this year! Next Sunday is easter and the grand daughter is going to have an easter egg hunt in the yard so I want it nice and neat for her!

then our dog groomer is arriving and shaving down our old newfoundland. He is 12 years old and has congestive heart failure. Shaving him in hot weather takes alot of the pressure off his body to regulate heat.

our maintenance guy is coming over to measure for new countertops in the kitchen! Thank you income tax return! (next week, the guys from the flooring store are measuring for new tile in the kitchen as well!)

all my paperwork is done for work. The laundry is all done. And the house is completely cleaned and most of the spring cleaning done!

its a good day today!

Church today, and then lunch out.

I need to run a couple of errands, but maybe they can wait until tomorrow....after all, tomorrow is another day! :blush:
