I slept in until 7am...and for me that IS an accomplishment!
Got up and made tea Read a while Made a smoothie Did yoga Organized my closet...FINALLY... Organized my dresser clothes... Swept and bleached my bathroom floor Spot cleaned my living room floor re-swept the living room rugs.. did dishes changed the cat box Took my pup for a nice walk Gave my pup a bath after he rolled in something stinky For tonight: Make dinner... maybe start deep cleaning my bedroom now that the rest of the house is in order.... |
Even though I tend to eat fairly healthy, I have been a soda head for years...specifically cola. I finally decided that I am done drinking them and am happy to say that I have gone 5 days without any soda. I am drinking water and fresh made veggie & fruit juices instead.
This is a huge accomplishment for me. As some of you know I quit smoking cold turkey 4 or 5 years ago but have held onto my soda habit like a baby clinging to it's bottle. ;) |
A bunch
wash dried and put away several loads of clothes and my blankets and sheets. washed dishes unloaded feed and fed the animals fixed my breakfast went to birthday party cut up taters for supper put up some groceries washed up supper dishes whew... I'm tired talkin bout it all |
Drove home from seeing my in laws, cleaned the house thoroughly even scrubbed the bathroom floor. Walked the dogs cleaned litter box and packed for my trip. Now time to relax with the kitties and watch some Bones

it was a blistering 40 degrees today, so i put on my swimming trunks and started up the lawn mower for the last mulching of the season.
my neighbors had to come over and ask why the hell am i making so much racket on a sunday. (hey they should be used to it, it was after 11) to add (my neighbors and i adore each another and banter in all good fun.) being this is the last time for this season, i run out all the fuel from the mower and put it away until spring. naturally i have forgotten my mower can go on endlessly with a full tank. i mulched. i mulched some more. 3 hours later, finally out of gas ((my mower too)) i could call it a day. http://lowres.cartoonstock.com/garde...060711_low.jpg |
I went to Costco and spent $274 on food I can't fit into my fridge.

Work accomplishments...
Figured out the alarm system Caught some major mistakes in the med book :| Started the process of organizing and prioritizing the kitchen (there are two and we need to just use one!) Made the epic shopping list organized the pantry Got dinner made on time...as opposed to an hour late the first night :blush: |
Let's see... I got my lazy ass out of bed, let the dogs out, fed the dogs, made coffee, and now I'm about to drink said coffee and start work.

watched 4 movies on my netflix acct managed to eat some breakfast wrote out 6 new holiday addresses on cards laid down with doggies on floor for loving I've been out of work for 3 weeks now since going into the hospital for some lung/blood issues and still slowly recovering. So my days don't really move to much-- eh. |

I managed to work my 8 hours, which included attending a meeting and also doing some training. Then, I managed to take two... yes two.... one hour naps. lol. The dog woke me to go out and I went back to sleep after getting up to let him out. I made myself eggs for dinner and now I'm just vegetating.

took me nearly 3 hours to scoop dog crap up in our backyard-- not because there was lots of crap but because I can't breathe.
started up the car since I haven't driven in 3 weeks ate breakfast, ate lunch watched 2 movies on netflix fun, fun! |
Had coffee this morning, did some laundry, made lunch, and went online to surf the forums here and there and chat and post on facebook. Otherwise, it's been a lazy cold day for me. Oh yeah and I walked to post office to check my mail.

Need to get the rest of my spring syllabi ready for those teaching them. did one keep responding to email: doing do laundry: in the process clean: I think that goes on back burner, lol complete 4 other syllabi: all partially done and need to be finished by tomorrow. |

Re painted the foyer and it looks good cleaned and moped said foyer as well Finished painting our bay window and scraped the paint that had been left on the glass from when we started to paint it a while ago Went to the Doctor for yet another blood draw Cleaned and vacuumed the upstairs bedroom, hallway and the stairs :sunglass: damn I was a busy guy |
this is my first saturday with no guests, no puppy sitting, no baby sitting...i packed up the christmas ornaments last nite, now i need to take the totes to the garage and break down the christmas tree and pack it away in the garage...do some household chores...i will visit my mom today...and a cuddle date tonite :)

I accomplished not going bat stir crazy on people, after a 24 hour shift. I also didn't die while driving home in our "freeze over". I also got groceries, and yet somehow still managed to not buy the one item I actually needed, and lastly, I am about to accomplish the fine and beautiful art of making breakfast. mmmm..

I got orientation out of thevway for school. I cant attend til May but on Monday I'm going to register to take a cna night course...

cleaned my bedroom.. dusted, fixed a box of old clothes to donate. changed the sheets, have my candles placed about. Gonna give myself a mani pedi and a facial and then climb in that nice clean bed and watch the Ravens beat the hell out of New England. YAY!~

Answered many phone calls. Huddle call with the home office crowd. Finished the 8 evaluations on my staff. Sealed and in the mail, yay me! Sat in my new office chair, nice! Scheming a super bowl get away. Came home to have the electricity flicker and poof, dark in the country! Lol |

I got up,fix'd breakfast of bacon and eggs with french market coffee.Watch'd some news then after everyone left the house for the day but me and the fur kids..I bake'd four dozen peanut butter chockolate chip cookies.Now my son will have his cookie fix for a while.At the moment I am just chilling out on the puter.

After working the past 13 days, I managed not to work today. That is My accomplishment.

Today I looked at three apartments with a broker.
One of them was huge; three capacious bedrooms and a gargantuan common living space and long, rambling urban views—and a balcony! It's in my price range, but the competition is fierce. We're making an offer, and I am having rushes of happy fantasies; the kind of communal living I could create with stabile, interesting artists such as myself :) gay for sure, male or female—that's the life for me! I told the realtor, This is what I like. Get me more like this! Big space. Big light. Big view. Ambitious, sketchy neighborhoods are fine. Empty warehouses are fine. What fun I could have! That's what I accomplished today, I opened a big door! |
Went to the produce stand and bought produce for the week.
Made three days worth of veggie juice, for myself and a friend of mine. A gallon for me and a half gallon for my friend. I also made a quart of vanilla cashew milk and a pint of citrus vinaigrette for me. Laundry |
I had a ton of small project boards I have been scavenging for awhile. They all have the most annoying staples in each end. Finally I said f-it. I gathered all of them up and put in the truck bed. This was early morning. Found a place where the noise from my 20 volt cordless circular saw would not be troublesome to anyone. Pulled my stools off the truck, set up perfect and cut all those stapled ends off. Normally I remove staples but there were too many.
Late afternoon I made my neighbor an exterior cover for where the dryer blows the hot air out from the side of his house. His was messed up. I had hardware cloth, plenty of wood and screws ... so there you go. He was so pleased and couldn't believe I did that for him. He is not gay. He does not strike me the type who owns any tools or fixes things. DRYER VENT!!! I could not think of what it is called until this moment and it frumped me. LOL! |
So far, I've not accomplished much of anything , except make a cup of English tea to sip on.
I will probably sleep a little longer, then get up and primp a bit after I take a shower. I want to make sure my hair looks pretty , before I go to work this afternoon/evening. |
I went to Target in the middle of blizzard preparations and I only swore out loud ONCE!
