Zimmy, aren't those hot chocolate party hang-overs just the worst? I remember an especially rough one I had in '07, took me three days and a fourth of a bottle of aspirin to recover.

:tease:

Just kidding around. That is very sweet that you and your roommate participated in a hot chocolate party for your niece. :)

Morning, everyone! We are leaving in a few hours but I wanted to stop by and wish everyone a good week before we did (f)

JustJo 07-11-2010 08:35 AM

Good morning everyone :)

:bringcoffee: Coffee is on...and :tea: for those that prefer tea. Welcome durrrrrrrr and you absolutely can hang out here even if you don't drink coffee. :cheesy: My sweetie doesn't drink coffee or tea, so there's always cold sodas, fruit juice and V8 in the fridge as well.

:linecook: Breakfast is on...waffles, fresh strawberry topping and real whipped cream (cuz it is Sunday, after all)...eggs cooked to order, bacon and sausage, and a fresh fruit salad. :eating:

I had a nice sleep-in, something that rarely happens, so I'm feeling good today and ready to tackle more packing. :)

Hope you all have a great day. :rrose:

:lips: sweetie...don't let them make you :seeingstars: at work baby. :stillheart:

do you ever go to Paris on the train? i am going to be in Paris in September for four days

Zimmeh 07-11-2010 08:49 AM

Good morning Brock,

I can make a mean cup of hot chocolate ask my niece. It was cute lastnight with her. I put the hot chocolate in my Princess House crystal mugs and ate chocolate chip cookies.

Have fun today,

Zimmy

Good MOrning all kitcheners!! It's a late start for me too. Slept in late with the dogs, took them to the dog park yesterday I think they are beat!! Zimmy sounds like a nice cup o hot chocolate you got there. JO waffles are just what I wanted this morning with strawberries and whipped cream. Had an awesome dessert from Whole Foods in Paramus, NJ, they have a dessert bar I couldn't believe my eyes!! Wow I was in heaven. Anyway suffice it to say I had the chocolate cake with whipped cream on top and it was good. I also had the lamb kebab with hummus and tahini dressing (sp?). Have much homework to do today if I ever wake up?:seeingstars:

gettting ready for dinner soon and ready for that god damn internship where I do nothing!! Hope everyone's day was productive and eventful. Never made it to the city too tired to go to a butch-femme social, so sad :( could have used a drink for real!!

JustJo 07-11-2010 04:46 PM

Good evening all :)

It's :bbq: for dinner tonight...london broil, chicken kabobs with onion, peppers and cherry tomato...corn on the cob...potato salad....mmmmmm :girleating:

Okay kitchen friends...big request here...

I just got an email from the realtor saying the bank just did their appraisal, which means the paperwork is now finally on the correct desk and moving forward...so I could use all your good energy, prayers, white light...whatever ya got! :rrose: We're hoping to get approval of our offer and a successful closing, so I can get moved down to my sweetie. :cheesy:

Hope you've all had a wonderful Sunday. My mother called this morning and wanted to take me to lunch...so we hit the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's, did some shopping, then finished hauling wood out of my basement and up to the curb (that's how I recycle :) ). Time to sit and relax a little now.

:lips: baby :stillheart:

Thanks Lips! :)

The wood was lumber and leftover molding from my office renovation. I had piled it all in the basement rather than hauling it out into the snow, and it had been sitting there ever since. :seeingstars:

I live on a busy street, and I have found that I can put virtually anything out at the curb and someone will stop and pick it up. I think of it as the ultimate recycling....out of my way and into the hands of someone who can use it. :)

lipstixgal 07-11-2010 06:06 PM

OH so you can put anything on the street and someone will pick it up that's nice to know!! I'm going to watch some tv and then its bedtime for me..been very tired lately and don't know what it is attributed to? I guess being on 1200 calories a day for so long takes a toll on the body or its school for a year that has been intense but all I know is that its bedtime early for me.
