My throat started hurting yesterday, can barely swallow or speak a word, but I'm sipping on hot water with lemon and honey and will stay in bed today...... *happy sunday* :balloon:

Happy Sunday morning friends,

I woke up early but I went to bed early so that is good. I am watching CBS Sunday Morning News and they had a segment on the type of work that I am currently doing for storm surge and sea level rise. :)

I will cook up a storm today for the work week. Later I have light house chores.

Got up early today as the sun came up. Just had my egg beaters and veggies,now reading newspaper.
Its gonna be warm as the west coast is said to reach record temps.

So back to my triplex to do a few yard chores,then to sisters house to tear apart old recliner and unclog her gutter.Then back to my house to work a little in garage...cleaning and organizing.

Woke up and had Cap'n Crunch while I watched an episode of The West Wing. Took Tiny Dog out in the rain :( and she picked today to get herself tangled in a mahonia bush. So I had to come out from under the carport and rescue her. Went back inside and toweled both of us off, and now we are snuggling back into bed to listen to the rain on the roof.

my sister and I are off to see a local production of the musical HairSpray!

Afterwards, I and the hubbie are picking up the grand daughter (if the storm holds off) to take her for a pony ride. We finally got her all the things she needs to ride in her cute little pink english saddle. She is adorable riding her white beast! LOL

I am picking up a load of baby clothes to give to the young woman who helps me with housework. She is a teen mom. She has an 8 month old baby boy. So I have a boy to buy for as well as two grand daughters!

Hubbie made fantastic chili for today! I dont have to cook! <3

Busy busy for the day. Have been experimenting with dehydrating food. Will see how it works out. Red has accepted a position as a Gifted and Talented teacher for next year. We have to pack her room and move everything by the first of the month. Yiphee!

Today will be a lazy day. My thighs are killing me from my beach hike! I would like to grocery shop but we're trying to wait until his sister moves so we can take inventory of food left.

Will enjoy the sound of birds outside, the breeze of the fan and the rumble of planes nearby. There may be a nap involved later ☺

I had a wonderful day with my mom, sister and baby niece Gracie.

We went for ice cream and to my favorite produce place.

I got Turkish eggplant after YEARS of separation....geographically.

I also saw places I hadn't seen in years. It was a lovely day <3

my sundays hum i'm chilling with a program tv or doing laundry with music at high sound and singing too ^^

*slips in quietly today.....*

I've got my hands gloved and my mask on, and brought a tray of untouched clean assortment of fruit, cookies in unopened packages, and unopened single serving unopened bottles of water and a basket of single serving unopened prepackaged tea selections.

I hope all the Sunday Over Easy members have a relaxing holiday ahead. :)

I slept in a little but had a weird night. I kept hearing alarms not sure if it was real or dreams but all is quiet this morning. I will be cooking today and knocking out the usual Sunday chores. Rain is expected and I hope it starts soon.

Happy Sunday, Folks!!!! Hope all who get a long weekend are enjoying it. I lucked out this year having my holiday off fall on my weekend off. Thoroughly enjoying it and just relaxing. Cooked a pot of spaghetti yesterday and having a friend over today to grill burgers and dogs. Hope everyone relaxes and has a safe, positive week ahead.
