Welcome to the new folks, and hello to the regulars! I have now moved to a new place, and hope to live here for long time. Covered porch the width of the house, so it can rain all it wants and I can still sit outside, read the paper, sip coffee, watch the birds and marvel at the sheep and lambs playing in the field. I have found a little piece of heaven, and I am delighted!!!

Had this awsome load yesterday evening going allllll the way to Witchita KS , soo i was already at a plaza to pick up a few things . i go to start my truck and get rolling to pick this load up around detroit and .. HA.. my truck wouldnt start.... turns out the starter went.. *sigh* the kicker to this story I was around the machanic's shop all afternoon , why couldnt of broke down THERE!! .... ok my lil rant is over.. lol morning OS .... what will you do today?? i hear your glass art calling your name :) hehe.. just a thought.. you do such awsome work :) the pink going???? :confused: names??? lol ok guess they are about ready for me to pull my truck around... yayy ... Get ER done.. there is a lady here girl...?? hmm well anyways she runs this whole truck repair operation, she is in her maybe hmm late 20's?? early 30's im guesing.. has these awsome pink n purple streaks in her hair.. lol has horses... NO one.. and i mean NO one is allowed to swear in her shop.. not even the machanics.. or she will fine you $$ .. and there are a few signs posted saying so. lol she is serious..... she finds it offensive to her costumers and herself. im gonna give her a print of my war pony painting. :) anyways................. have a awsome day everyone. bbl |

i went to a dance last night that could have been a lofters dance it was a lot of fun with great people i have known a long time funny how when you live in the same community you actually notice when you are all aging. add it just is and you just go with it and you don't think twice about it.
10 years ago staying out till 2 or 3 in the morning no problem now i need a pillow by 9 and 11 is pushing it for me... i love it... happy weekend my fellow lofters I am proud to be amongst this group :) |

Red is curled up sleeping with the pups while I enjoy my cup of coffee. I am going to cook breakfast this morning. We are going to have blue and gold sausage with home made biscuits and gravy. Yummmy!

So, moving is finally completed. Today we cleaned the townhouse. Tomorrow is the move out inspection and hopefully, by Tuesday I will be able to sit and let that stressful time go.

turns out the pain in my hand is partially, a nerve problem in my elbow. Dr wants to take care of the elbow and see what happens to the wrist. MRI didn't show anything in the wrist. Most likely a small tear they can't see. If it doesn't calm down, they may go in and "do some scraping" ouch! will schedule surgery for elbow soon. Still have neck dr to see.
Sister and her wife have been visiting from Alaska. Neighbors rotty jumped the fence and bit my sisterinlaw. Had to report it. Police had to come out. Now they are claiming we are harrassing them... uhhh really?? Police don't believe him. Rotty was not registered so he is being slapped with a fine. Has to provide proof of up to date shots. They will not put in a new fence (of course he told the cop he would) bc he is out of work (always out of work) and can't afford it. REALLY??? and we can?? Have to do it in order to keep my 72 year old mother and my little Bella safe. Thanks God for a home depot credit card and a family friend who will let us pay him on time for the labor and not charge us much as it is. OYE!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Dog comes out of quarantine tomorrow but fence should be good enough for now. If he bites again the dog will be put down. Hate that, but the dog attacked unprovoked even. Not good owners to tell you the truth. They are responsible, not the dog. Called animal control and they told us to call the police and file a report, which we did.
Wrist arm and elbow continue to get worse despite cortizone shots. Will need to schedule surgery for my Ulna nerve soon.. (funny bone). Saw neck dr today and he wants an mri. Been seeing him for years and he agrees that I should have the surgery. Go back on the 5th of June to see him. Morningstart... hope your laptop gets fixed soon! Hey all! Just turned 50 here. Hard to believe how time flies these days and yet still feel young in a lot of ways. I have a question for all of you...I'm thinking of changing my name but I feel a little silly doing it now at my age. I've lived with a name I never liked or felt comfortable with my whole life and, now that I'm older I'm thinking about changing it to something I think fits me better. So, what do you all think? Should I just stick with my old name that everyone knows me by or change it up and go for a new name? Does it even really matter what people call me after all this time?

I think, how wonderful that you can allow yourself to grow and change and be who you want to be in any given moment.
Sweet one it is all about you - and you can change it and if it doesn't feel good, or right, the beauty is, you can always change it back. What matters most is what DOES feel good to you. |

changed my first..middle and last name a few years ago. I never liked my middle name and it did not mean anything then sounding good with my first. Its empowering to re-name yourself!!

Thanks everyone for your input and support. I'm still deciding whether to do it or not and, at the advice of a close friend and my partner I'm looking into a nickname instead possibly. I'm not hot about the idea but I'm told that people don't like the name I've chosen for myself. I like the name and I know that's what matters so I may just have to get butch and stick with it regardless lol.
