Some of us here don't go for bulbs. Some, I for one, enjoy spending time in candle light.. Now, I will admit, I may be a little biased.. I have been burned by more then one sweet looking bulb.. It's always the same with them.. They come all cushined up in that lil box, looking all clear and full of potiential (that's another thing.. frosted bulb? EWW! They smell, you know..), I screw the bulb into my socket and it's all fine and dandy until one day, out of the blue, I flip the switch and she's gone. No note, no text, NOTHING!

I've never been let down by a candle.. Plus, candles are just plain HOT!

OK, that's all.. I'm sure that I'll get flamed for this, but I don't care.. My love for candles deserves space too!

Look Adorable, if you went on enough self-emposed, 30 second exiles from cyberspace the way I do you'd know the difference between the real world and Internet!

The real world is completely different. No one talks like this out in the real world and lightbulbs don't "identify" as lightbulbs, they are lightbulbs. Lightbulbs are transparent (or brightly colored/etc) not "transparent" ("or brightly colored/etc") just to make themselves into the spotlight. The bulbs just live their real lives shining brightly instead of all of this online bs, divisive crap.

It also rains a lot more out here (*owning* my PNW centrism).

WAY to make it all about YOU again bullbulb!! And 30 second breaks smacks of west coast priviledge to me! On the east coast, us bulbs actually have to keep office lights on 24/7 to let all you (not you except you specifically and the collective me) west coast bulbs laze in the freaking sun all damn day!

Clearly, You were using low~wattage bulbs. For the best results and optimum visualization to the darkest corners, maximum wattage is best.

Though candle~light IS nice, too. And it IS difficult to drizzle hot bulb drippings on exposed skin.....I've heard tell.....

We need to be inclusive....but where do we draw the line? I mean really look how are we to accommodate these

This is all very hateful and petty.

Oh simpletons! It matters not who likes lightbulbs and what kinds versus who like candles. The only thing that matters is that *I* have the only REAL and TRUE light source in the universe.

hello Scorp.

Please understand that i am coming from my me space, ok dear?

i feel your post is dismissive. i am trying to make this entire thread about me, and you are interfering by posting cuteness. This hurts my feelings and i will not have this thread be about anyone else but me & my specialness.

Obviously you don't care about me. i'll just go quietly now, and i will not be back. i may even think about looking for some water and a cement floor. But i wont be missed so it doesn't matter, some other bulb will just use their filament. Just please don't let it be that bulbousy JustJo. She's such a "look at me, i light up so nicely, gather round and let me warm you" ho.

i hope you are at least bright enough to see that you are shining a big ole spotlight on your filamentphobia. Light up much??

The entire world knows that it was YOU who tried to poke your VERY bulbous bulb in MY socket even though i TRIED to enlighten your tired ass bulb even way back then that i prefer to be around BRIGHT bulbs, not DIM ones but nooooooooooooooo you just had to keep on lighting up about the whole mess. So, since YOU brought it up again, FINE. Bring it bulb! i ain't scared of your dimness.

ETA (even though i didn't *really* come back to edit it, because i am adding it as i write): i do not have anything against dim bulbs, just fyi. The world needs dim bulbs to help us special lil bulbs appreciate ourselves even more than we do. And i understand that i cannot speak from their me place cause it's not my me place it's their me place. i am not trying to pretend to know what it must feel like to be just a bulb.

i am DONE. i can see i am not appreciated by you bulbs with your click on click offish ways. Fine. i wont bother coming back here again.

Fine! I'm out!! Goodbye!!!!!! I hope you enjoy your continued delusion of being the only special bulb in a field of dim bulbs. Click off, I say...click OFF!

Dear TenderLight,

i will be reporting your post. i was being very low light in my vulgarity towards you and you have now insisted on bringing it out into the natural light. Obviously you are a candle lover because you know no bulb would want to light your way.

Scorp 06-18-2010 01:19 PM

Dear Santa,

I'd like these in each of my rooms for Christmas.

Love, Little Scorpi

To everyone: Please remember this is all about me, not JustJo.

Now, now bulbiegrrls simmer down....play nice and keep the ugliness hidden from my sensibilties. I prefer arguments to happen in kiddie pools filled with jello. Seriously. bulbwrestling is hoootttt!
