... life, being sober, hanging with sober friends in reality, my dogs, coding software, drama-free zones, playing sports (basketball, football - not a fan of softball)
I must list this one ... Right now, I am enjoying relief from the heat. I feel better both physically and emotionally. Due to high temperatures, I have been an irritable bastard all summer long. Not kidding! I am so hot-natured. This past summer was the absolute worst ever. |

Really enjoying reading what other folks enjoy. This thread is one of those that gives a glimpse of what really matters to us and says a lot about our character. Including our silly side, which is great, too! Sometimes posts make me feel good just because it looks like someone else is enjoying maybe a small bit of joy, but it is important enough for them to come to this thread and share it. So, that means they are in a good space.

i really enjoy knowing exactly what needs to be done at work, then doing it well, and getting recognized for my effort(s).
i also really enjoy that molly :cat: is beginning to get used to being held and actually jumps on my lap to get some lovin'. so sweet!!! :stillheart: |

I enjoy spending time with my parent, they crack me up...
I enjoy spending time with my roomie, we have some challenging moments "fixin" thangs, and we have fun when it is time for fun too I enjoy college football even when ALL of my teams are having losing seasons. For 23 years I enjoyed my job and looked forward to going to work every day, now not so much I enjoy living in the south more in winter than in summer. |

....football Sundays, even when my team has a bye week ....watching the kitty scrunch up against the slider while she gets sun ....sitting on the deck, drinking coffee in the cooler, crisper air ....watching the leaves turn color ....watching the craftspeople create a mural of whales in the ocean on the face of the bowling alley building ....watching my little neighbor kid roam the yard while he learns to walk, something so endearing about the beginning straggerings of a child .... |
